「I had good communication with the owner but admit was disappointed by the over all experience. For such a high cleaning fee, I did not expect to have to make the beds when I arrived, but did find it was in the fine print. The house is in decent condition, but having the furniture all covered with furniture blankets made it feel cheap. The heating was erratic(hot upstairs and cold down), and I was awakened one night with water noises, which turned out to be a flushing of the water system right...

「It was parents weekend at the college prime watching season. We needed to visit a Friend who had recently been diagnosed with cancer who lives in Middlebury. This was a perfect solution.」

「We had a large-ish group for my son's graduation from Middlebury College and could not have asked for a nicer host or place. The upstairs/main floor is really so much cooler even than the photos portray. You feel like you are out in the field with huge windows in every room. The basement is dark and cool and very flexible bed and roomwise. Everyone felt very comfortable and well cared for. Kara is a fantastic and responsive host and we are so grateful for the soft landing.」

「We can not say enough wonderful things about our stay. Brian was there to meet us and do a walk though of the property and even helped us out with local places to go. He is a gem! Although it rained it was absolutely perfect. The yard gave our pups a place to run free but there was also cute areas to walk them all around the area. The views of the water are incredible. Just sad it was too cold to jump in... maybe next time. October was the perfect time to see all the leaves changing and breathe...
