Not a restful holiday due to A38

Our property was right next to the A38 and whilst the cottage itself was good, the constant traffic meant that we didn’t sleep very well. We were told that the traffic dies down by the evening but this was not the case. Add to that the very light, flimsy curtains and you end up with daylight from about 03:30. This all adds up to 2 grumpy adults that were all for packing up and going home by the start of the second week. We ended up moving to the back bedroom - twin beds! As for the WiFi - the signal was not great. The website gives the impression that you have WiFi in the cottage but this is not the case. There is a server that covers all 38 cottages. Not ideal with 2 teenagers! Cornwall itself was lovely and the beach at Tregantle was our bolt hole. Especially with the lovely coffee van at the top. We will definitely be back to Cornwall but not to Crylla Valley Cottages
