I appreciate the simple layout for our needs. 3 bedrooms meant we were comfortable at night. "We have stayed at numerous VRBO properties, but this was one of the best. Unlike some other houses, this host has stocked many items for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Especially in the kitchen, there were numerous staples provided for those who forgot or were unprepared. Games and activities abound, both inside and out. The only frustration was with all the remotes to the TV. Never did figure out the Bose speakers so just used the TV speakers. But we rate this a 10-star home:-)."

"My husband, chihuahua and I stayed at the cottage for 4 days while in Virginia. We loved the view of the water from all the windows that allowed natural light in. We watched all the birds and crabs while sitting on the back porch. The location is great for visiting all the Historic areas. We took a segway tour and Ghost tour in Yorktown.
