The boardwalk over the sound was wonderful, as were the pool and hot tub. The house was spacious and well-laid out. The elevator and ramp made getting in pretty easy for my elderly father, but as the description suggests, none of the rooms are entirely handicapped-accessible. Even so, the sunset views were fantastic, and the younger members of our party loved the easy sound access for kayaking.

Worst OBX property I have stayed at in 12 years!

Place was really dirty, outdated and needed some work. I liked the sound side...very pretty but the location of the beach was FAR!! Overall it was an okay place but definitely not worth the price I paid at all. I will never stay here again or recommend it. Resort Realty has much nicer places by far.

Best Vacation Ever!!!

This was our first trip to Outer Banks and thus, the first time we worked with Surf and Sound Reality. They were very easy to work with and check-in was done all through email. The house was amazing! We were in during off season, so did not get the benefit of the pool, but everything else was great. It was just my husband and I, but the price of the house and location were exactly what we were looking for! The view was spectacular, watching the sunsets every evening from the back deck was so therapeutic! We laughed about the house having an elevator.... until we got there! Thank God for that elevator! LOL it saved us on the arrival and departure days!LOL You know its a great vacation when you REALLY don't want to leave.... that was the hardest part of the whole trip. Thank you for all your support during the stay (answering our questions) and for having this wonderful home! Definitely looking to return!

OBX Stay

Even though the oven and stove were not working we were able to make our food in the microwave and on the grill. It was a challenge but we did it. After 3 days they did replace the stove. There was a lot of rain that came in through the door wall in the dining room and in the basement which we had to use towels to dry it up. We let the office know about all the rain that came in. This will cause mold in the house so the owners need to be aware of this. All in all, we did enjoy our stay.

Fun in the sun

Had a great time. Our 12 family members loved the house and location. Perfect weather all week to watch the many kite surfers. Liked it so much we will be back next year!
