I loved our stay here! It is a very ecotravel type of trip! It’s a very local area, it is about a 10-15min drive to the bottom of the mountain to the town of samana! There are few English speakers but they’ll do their best to help you get by! We had an amazing time! Really enjoyed our stay, staff was nice, food is really good on resort! — pasta with shrimp was my fav, and my friend really enjoyed the fried fish. 1 (809) 546-7216 This taxi was really helpful the whole time (what’s app) I hope you enjoy your stay!

It is hard to explain how amazing this lodging is. I agree with other reviewers—if you are looking for a five star experience, you need to stay in a fancy hotel in Samana. If you are looking for breathtaking views, a rustic environment, and an amazing element of privacy—you are looking at the right place. Every room feels like it own bungalow, the included breakfast was delicious, and the smash burgers were awesome! The staff was attentive and the view of the bay was second to none. It is a hair raising drive up to the hotel and a hike from the parking to your room (staff will help with luggage) but once you are settled in—YOU WON’T want to leave! It’s great, we already can’t wait for our next stay…

Treasure in the tree tops

Great place above Samana bay. Not easy to get to (especially at night), but an oasis with incredible views, super friendly staff, good food and pretty access to Samana destinations. Loved private dinners in one of the two towers overlooking the bay. Yoga in the morning. No AC, but the higher rooms didn’t need it at all (fan plus breeze meant we used a blanket at night).

I don’t think there are enough words to express how STUNNING this property was! My husband and I didn’t want to go home! We wanted to stay here forever! The staff was extremely friendly! Some of the nicest and attentive staff I’ve ever experienced on this island! The property manager is on top of everything and makes sure all her guest are having a great stay! This hotel is so beautiful, you really feel connected with nature when staying here. You can see so many palm trees and greenery and even bacardi island from the rooms and viewpoints. You can also hear all the nature around you. We booked the room with the pool and it was stunning, but even if you dont book this one, they have a main pool which is larger and just as beautiful with the greenery background. Only downside is the staff dont speak much english but we were able to communicate fine with google translate. The room itself was basic which was fine for us as it was clean, if youre looking for luxury in the actual rooms then this wont be for you. The place is away from the city and you have to drive through streets with homes of locals to get to it.
