We stayed 2 nights and drove into Ubud the first night (about 20 minutes by car) and then on Saturday drove to Kintamani. Perfect location for seeing the area. I had trouble finding the location, the address in Bali is not as exact as I anticipated, so I kind of had to guess the closest landmark when I booked a transport.
