Located in the highly desirable, safe, and gated subdivision of the Caracol Península, this ideal and beautiful 3 story, 5,400 square foot, 4 bedroom vacation home is perfect for your enjoyment.

The home is centrally located near shops, local pubs, restaurants, and the Marina San Carlos. Walk to Shangri La beach and a beautiful renovated bar pool/jacuzzi at the Marinaterra Beach Club - just a 5-minute walk down the path.

The Shangri La beach is popular for kayaking, swimming, and snorkeling. Another beach, Playa Caracol, is located within the community and is secluded and peaceful - a 3-minute drive away.

There is a kayak rental station (Sat/Sun 9a-3p) on the beach in front of the house - super convenient! Perfect beach with spectacular cliffs and a cave for kayaking.

House amenities: Bluetooth audio system with speakers throughout the house, water purification/softener system, BBQ grill, coffee/tea, white clean cozy bedding, beach towels, hairdryers, shower/hand soap, large make-up mirror, baby gate/crib, extra-large windows for full spectacular views from within the house, perfect central location! In addition to all the amenities, there are two carbon monoxide and smoke alarms for your safety.

Nestled into the leeward of the Caracol Península, the main floor features a spacious master suite, living room with a cozy fireplace, dining area, open kitchen with a bar, and a covered wrap-around terrace to enjoy the views.

The lower level offers plenty of privacy for guests with two bedrooms with queen beds, one media/bedroom with sofa bed, a full bath, a sitting area, and access to the parking and fountain courtyard.

The tasteful decor blends the charm of Mexico with the comfort of home; accents include colorful hand-painted murals, art pieces, and lighted curio niches. Romantic balconies off the main bedrooms provide a tranquil spot to relax and take in the ocean views.

Secure enclosed parking for one vehicle in the carport and the second vehicle in an enclosed garage. Additional off-road parking in front of the home. Convenient and quick access in and out of the gated subdivision on the Caracol Península.

Except for the outside pain color, everything was exactly as in the VRBO listing. BeWe arrived and there was an old paper towel and a Q tip on the carport floor.

Charming Mexico Vibe

Great location, very spacious and comfortable . We have rented homes worldwide and this one wins for how well " stocked" it is from coffee makers to glassware and more. The view is FAR more spectacular and expansive then the online pictures capture! Great restaurants are very close as well as a grocery store. This home is a winner! And finally the host was VERY helpful!

Beautiful home on our first family vacation

First time for our family in San Carlos and we had the best time. The house was big and spacious for all of us and our little ones loved it. We had a close beach where we played and the other beaches we visited were not very far at all. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Villa Overlooking the Sea of Cortez

The Villa provided spacious accommodations with gorgeous views, quality furnishings and kitchenware, which fostered nostalgic quality family time, and hosts that communicated responsively, effectively and thoughtfully. Also, the home was absolutely dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us!

Everything was just like advertised. Beautifully appointed spaces with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Having visited San Carlos for many years this location was our favorite for the luxury provided and easy walking to shops and dining.

Incredible Vista

This is a 5000 Sq ft home overlooking a bay of the Sea of Cortez on the Playa Caracol. It is part of a large, high end housing development with gated entrance. Caracol Turistica is one of the homes closest to entrance/exit; therefore, the location is perfect for an easy walk to the marina, several restaurants, a supermarket, and the small rocky beach the house overlooks. The owners are gracious and easy to reach by phone. An A+ rating for them. The view is spectacular facing east. Sun and moon rise are beautiful. It's a beautiful home with great murals on inside walls. The outside veranda was a great place to sit and enjoy the spectacular view. A couple of drawbacks. We were there during a fairly chilly week (70-73F with evening temps in the 50's). Mini-splits simply are not made to heat that kind of space, so after the morning sun, the house was always chilly. (A suggestion for this, some warm, cozy throws to wrap up in would have been nice.) My guess, when it's hot this house would provide perfect cool areas. The downstairs bedrooms (which we never used) felt a bit claustrophobic, but again, probably perfect for hot weather. This is a pet friendly home, and the outside more comfortable chairs and couch reflected that. We are dog owners, however, wish those had been better cleaned. Overall, our stay was lovely, and would definitely recommend Caracol Turistica when the weather in San Carlos is warmer or hot. And thank you Abby for your prompt responses to our calls.

Beautiful Views

This is a beautiful house. The location is great, it's a gated community with a gatekeeper at the entrance. The neighborhood straddles the top of a hill and was very pleasant for taking walks. The house is spacious, and our group of 8 was very comfortable. The house faces the ocean and there's a beach right down the hill from the house. The views from the balcony porch were fabulous and we spent a lot of time there taking in the beauty, perfect for watching sunrises.

Great weekend getaway

This house is great for a large family or group of friends. Perfect location, with view of the bay and San Carlos, short walk to the Marina with great food options and night life. Upstairs space is great for hanging out due to the large open kitchen, dining and living space. The connected balcony is spacious and a relaxing spot in the morning to watch the sunrise, or in the evening after a day at the beach. Host provided plenty of recommendations for the area and an easy check in process. Would definitely return to stay in this house.

Family Trip

This was our first time renting in this area. We have been coming to San Carlos for over 30 years. It was a beautiful home in a lovely location. Only negative thing is the stairs. I would not recommend this home for someone, who has knee problems. Other than that, I will be renting this home again, and telling my friends and family of this gem of a home.

Beautiful vacation spot

This has been our first rental, ever. Not only was the location perfect with breathtaking views, but the house was very clean, organized, and well equipped. Anthony and Abby have a beautiful home and are very friendly when it comes to communication. The rental process was seamless and very easy. We loved being so close to the nearby amenities. Truly a very nice and large home to consider as your stay in the gorgeous San Carlos area. Highly recommended!
