Nice rental location. It was great for our family. It was on the bay side, and the pictures were accurate about the beach and location. We loved the boardwalk right outside the front door. Also, the ocean side is only two or three blocks away, so we did walk over there several times. It is close to many places to eat. The bay side is a bit more quiet and was enjoyable for us.

Amazing location

You cannot beat the location. The master bedroom was a favorite with the Jaccuzi bathtub and huge walk in closet. The view from the bed was lovely to wake up to each morning.

Great place! Great location!

We loved the place and the location. Parking was a challenge as we had two cars but we were able to find parking and then walk to the place. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it for a stay on the beach.

Bay Stay

Enjoyed sitting on the patio and bedroom balcony overlooking the harbor and watching the world go by on the boardwalk.Great location and would recommend the Funky Lemon for breakfast or lunch. We were here on an August weekend and it was quiet.

A delightful stay and a perfect location

The location was perfect, great accomodations, perfect appliances, outdoor eating area with a firepit and just step out and enjoy the bay. When we return to San Diego we will see if this unit is available first.

Girls weekend at the beach

This property was perfect for our girls getaway at the beach! After another property I had reserved canceled our booking unexpectedly, I’m so happy we were able to find this gem! The host was so responsive to all my questions, we were able to check in and out easily, and the property had everything we needed and more! I definitely plan on staying here again!

Fantastic location!

We had such a wonderful time. It was a total of four of us and we were very comfortable. The unit is self could fit about seven people. We loved having our morning walks on the beach, a big kitchen to cook and a beautiful view. The beds were absolutely comfortable, And we all slept in, which we never do. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay, we will be back.

Amazing time…great location

We had a wonderful vacation. You can walk to the ocean and to many restaurants. The master suite is beautiful with an amazing view with a balcony. The host was very responsive and definitely met our needs.

Great home on Mission Bay

Great home, clean and well maintained. Plenty of room for our family of four to sleep and hosted 7 for Thanksgiving dinner. Kitchen is well equipped, linens are fresh and new. Amazing location and views of Mission Bay. We will stay here again.

Just what the doctor ordered!

Had an amazing time at this gem located right on Mission Bay boardwalk. The place is awesome! We had 4 adults and it was perfect. Very well stocked, very clean, and a great, quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this property.The garage is tandem. It fit an Acura MDX and a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but barely. Anything bigger or wider will not fit. Parking is a bit scarce, so just be aware. Great location. Very safe, the neighborhood is relaxed, quiet and a family environment. I've already recommended this place to my coworkers and friends. It really is a nice place.

Fun in the sun

We had a great time. House was perfect for two couples and the location was great. Bayside is so much quieter than ocean side. Loved outdoor area overlooking bay. Conveniently located for short rides to many areas of attraction.

Great for family

Clean and comfortable! Family of 4 had ample room to chill or have fun. Step out to the bay, walk to beach, Belmont Park or a number of restaurants… had quality beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. Garage is tight on the sides but we had no issues fitting a large SUV.

Fun Memorial Day Weekend in Mission Bay

Our extended family stayed at this property to attend a nearby graduation. We enjoyed the excellent location-the Bay side is more chill and less crowded than the ocean side of Mission Bay, The place was very clean and everything worked. The bedrooms are quite roomy. The beach sand is 5 steps from the front door. A true "beach town" unit. Parking can be tough but the garage will hold 2 cars. Walk to beach, amusement park, public parks, etc. We would definitely come back.

Just Perfect!

It was clean and well-stocked. From the kitchen to the bathrooms and closets, we had everything we needed for two weeks. Wonderful views and perfect location for enjoying the SeaWorld fireworks. Far enough from Mission Bay Dr and Mission Blvd, so you can have peace and quiet, but close enough so you can be at SeaWorld after 5 minutes of driving and you can be at the major Mission Beach attractions with a 5-minute walk. We loved having a healthy breakfast every morning at the Funky Lemon - at the intersection of San Luis Obispo and Mission Blvd. That was a 7-minute walk away from the house. A beautiful way to start your day, with a walk by Mission Bay or Mission Beach. I can't say enough about Drift Vacation Homes. Communication was excellent. They responded within 30 minutes to any email inquiries and constantly kept us updated on everything through text and email messages. It was smooth sailing the whole two weeks we stayed there. Definitely coming back next year!

Truly a gem!

The Bayfront Gem is a beautiful little beach condo right on Mission Bay. I chose it for the size (3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths) and because it was right near the water. The pictures don't do it justice--almost the entire property has been remodeled. Only the full bathrooms haven't and even they were sparkling clean. The ground floor consists of the living room, kitchen, half bath, and laundry closet with stackable machines. There's a sofa, two chairs, table with four chairs, and stools at the breakfast bar. There was plenty of space for my husband and our two kids to spread out. The patio door opens to the patio which has a firepit and five chairs, and you can walk right out to the beach. We did cook breakfast at the house. There are plenty of pots, pans, and utensils, all clean and looked relatively new. I did wish there were a few more spices and maybe some basics like cooking oil. Overall it was a great setup for cooking and eating at the house. Upstairs are three bedrooms and two full baths. The master has a small balcony that also overlooks the beach. The master shower has a lovely rainfall showerhead that I enjoyed. I didn't get a chance to try it but the tub has jets! Having two sinks in that bathroom was also nice. The one thing that might not work for some people is the parking. The garage is somewhat narrow. We did manage to park our Toyota Sequoia SUV in it but it took a lot of backing in and out to position it properly. It was nice to have a garage though, rather than parking on the street. The location is great for being near both the bay and ocean (5 minute walk). Belmont Park is also walking distance, as are several restaurants.
