Weekend getaway

I loved the location and how easy it was to enter the property. Garage parking was an added perk. Will definitely be staying here again!

We arrived at this property around midnight and were gone by 10 AM the next morning. When we walked in there was an overwhelming urine smell that both my husband and I could smell. It was strongest in front of the sliding glass doors. We kept most of the doors and windows open at night and in the morning it was better but still there. We couldn’t stay there so I let the company know that we were leaving and booked the rest of our stay at a hotel. At first management said it’s wasn’t a pet friendly unit (false) then they said it was the humidity and finally they said it was the bathroom cleaning supplies. I live in a humid climate and travel to beaches every year. That was not humidity and I’ve never smelled cleaning supplies that smell like urine. It was very clear that a pet or child or someone had peed in front of the sliding door and it was never cleaned. They refused to provide any sort of refund which is their right as I was outside of the cancellation period but still disappointing as my family had to spend a large amount of money on a hotel instead. It was a very disappointing start to our vacation.
