This was my first time staying at a hostel, I have always being afraid of sharing a space with strangers, specially at night, but this place was really nice, clean and comfy, the other guest were also nice and respectfull. I spend the night very peacefully with no issues. The shower was amazing, the flow of the water was nice and warm. I'm tottally staying here in future visits to San Diego. You can find grosserie stores and food places near by as well as public transportation.

The staff is incredible! They help with everything promptly and professionally. The place however could be better. They don't use real fitted bed sheets, just a flat sheet, which doesn't stay in place. The blanket they provide is laughable and itchy. I thankfully, traveled with my own. There was an awful poop and mildew smell on the 2nd floor. The lock on my locker malfunctioned at least once everyday that I was there. And when it did the staff would help me get it unlocked again. But I feel like it would have been easier to use my own lock. The space was not clean. Found stuff from previous visitors under my bed. The location is great, but theres another hostel not too far away, called The HI San Diego which is much more comfortable and clean. So id suggest booking there, its cheaper and you'll be more comfortable.

Hostel was fantastic! Staff was friendly, super clean and the beds are decently comfortable and when you shut the curtain it really is kinda like having your own room. In a decent location too with an albertsons across the street and multiple bus stops around and a trolly station down the street! I would definitely stay again!
