I liked the location because it was very accessible to public transit. When I arrived the system was down so we were unable to check in. At the time of check out I received a bill for $100 more than what was told to me booking through Expedia. The front desk couldn’t do anything about it because it was 4:30am and his Supervisor wasn’t in yet. He told me he will have the Supervisor call me since I had an early flight so he can fix the billing. I received no calls but instead they stole my money out of my account. Don’t trust nope of the workers because they will smile in your face then rob you blindly. Now I have to dispute with my bank because they took more money than they should have.

The staff were just phenomenal. Everyone was so nice and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. Breakfast was also good every morning. Wouldnt stay any where else if we ever went back.

Rooms closer to street were noisy so I had to ask for a different room the second night I was there. The breakfast was good, it had cold and warm choices. But the warm breakfast was the same 5 days out of the 6 days I stayed there and no vegetarian choices at all. The hotel was clean and sort of updated. There was nothing interesting to walk around the hotel. However it is a good hotel if you want to stay there and visit San Francisco and surrounding. A little expensive considering there is no other amenities besides a small gym room.

This property had water damage to TWO rooms, and they told me that mine was one of them. They put the blame on Expedia, saying I should have been notified by Expedia ... I was not notified. They gave me ZERO help in finding another hotel. Expedia, will you ensure that I'm not charged by Expedia for NOT staying at the Holiday Inn Express?

My first time to travel in San Francisco and I enjoy my stay here.My room is huge and I have to say that the cleanliness is amazing every time i went out for activities whenever I came back to my room it is always clean as if it was my first day to check in. I will definitely go back and recommend it.

The customer service was beyond amazing. I haven't even received such customer service even in high end hotels. The daily breakfast was very good, even the service during breakfast was impressive. The only down-fall would be our sofa bed which my children slept on. The bed within the sofa felt like it was going to fall apart.

My daughters and I stayed here and I felt safe the entire time. All staff we interacted with were polite and helpful if needed. Amaya, the night clerk, was amazing. The property was clean. Our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was enough to send you on your way with something in your stomach. Overall a good stay and I’ll stay again if I’m in the area.
