Hacienda San Pancho
The condo is very large and comfortable. It has air conditioning and ceiling fans in every room. The kitchen is fairly well stocked and it more than adequate to cook a meal. There's also a built-in charcoal grill on the rear pation which we used. Beds were comfortable. It has 3 bathrooms; one for each bedroom which is very nice. The condo is located in the Hacienda San Pancho development. The unit has a small swimming pool, however, it was too cold for us to use. There is also a large shared pool with lot of lounger chairs and umbrellas which overlooks the beach, and another large shared pool in a more treed environment. Both were nice.The only detail which needs to be explained as it's fairly significant, is that the Hacienda development has been partly abandoned. Many derelict buildings and units. This condo is in a 3 story building with 5 other units, all of which seemed to be abandoned and in varying levels of disrepair. This is a common theme amongst the other buildings in the development. I don't have any idea what happened to cause this.It's a quick walk into town or to the beach. The Hacienda development is gated and has security at the main front gate and at the beach. We didn't feel unsafe at all walking around the town of San Pancho or the Hacienda development at night. The development has brick roadways and paths which are lit up at night.We loved San Pancho. It's a very laid back place with lots of restaurants, taco stands, bars, etc...
