“This hotel was beautiful. Clean and peaceful and quiet and the people running it were fantastic. The breakfast was amazing and the service was excellent. And a lovely pool lounge area. Definitely not a hotel for party animals but very close to all the restaurants and shops and beach. ”

“This hotel is a gem. We enjoyed our stay. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean. The pool on the rooftop is great and we were often the only once up there. The hotel is right in the center of town. 100 meters to the beach and everything right outside your front steps. So if you like that, this is a great place to stay. It does get a bit noisy and the hotel provides earplugs. But the music stops by midnight usually. The nreakfast that arrives at your door in the morning……

“The Witari is a delightful small hotel with everything you need. Kind of like a mini resort. The rooms are exactly as shown in the photographs and overlook a jungly courtyard with a small pool. There is an even smaller pool up on the roof deck. A free yoga class is held each morning up on the roof. Tropical birds flit about. Beach blanket, cooler and umbrella to take to the nearby beach are provided in the room. Beach chairs are available to sign out. Golf cart can be rented by the day or 1/2……

“Pool had a beautiful view of ocean where we watched whales and birds while having pool totally to ourselves . Loved that the resort was spacious and uncrowded.Secured with gates and a few minute walk to town. Staff went over and above Rubin at the front desk gave a guided tour of the facilities and town with suggestions of restaurants and activities .Housekeeping was excellent . Definitely will return. Also front desk Diana arranged that our laundry which was plentiful was clean and returned……

“This is a small hostel on the Main Street of San Francisco (San Pancho). Great front desk staff, very helpful. Very clean and a beautiful communal space. Further from beach than most places but still easily walkable and a great location. Breakfast is fresh fruits and a nutty bread (delicious), tea, coffee and other juicy drinks. We had a room with private bathroom and air con. One negative: Window opens into hall, not outside and our window didn’t have a lock on it... Maybe others……
