“If you have trouble with stairs don't stay here. Lovely place but the drive to the house is difficult. And then the stairs up to your room, oh my. I had to leave after one night as I just couldn't face them daily. And having to drive the narrow, twisting road at dusk was frightening. It was a great room and the quiet was outstanding. Host was a lovely lady. Just I'm too old for all the climbing.”

Felt really clean, and the gas fire feature in the backyard was a bonus. Nice warm gas fireplace really helped out at night as well. Super quiet area, and has a new full size washer and dryer onsite. Would love to stay here again!!!”

“This is a tough one to review, honestly. We didn't end up staying. The location was great, the tree house vibe was awesome, my kid loved the porch swing, and it appeared clean/neat inside. But it smelled very musky! We debated about what to do and ended up deciding not to stay. The place is surrounded by cement walls on two sides, so while we didn't see any evidence of mold, it was reasonable to worry there might be. “Property had everything we needed for a stay and plenty of notes to help with our stay. Kitchen and suite area was great to congregate with views of the city. Few downsides were the bedroom and entry way smelt like a nursing home and we wished there were more opportunities to be outside. There were only two functional windows; none in the bedroom to help with the smell. The area also isn’t very good for walking as the streets are windy and tight.”

“We stayed in Mill Valley in late September 2026, and our accommodations were outstanding. The location is ideal for touring Mt. Tam, Muir Woods Forest, the northern beaches, Big Sur, the wine country, and, of course, San Fran. The town of Mill Valley is fantastic. We were there during a music fest and hung out at The Depot. We had a great breakfast at SunnySide, which we highly recommend. I don't recommend La Ginestra- both our meals were middling at best. My husband was able to walk into town……
