San Giovanni Beach Hotels

"This hotel has a great location, just outside the old town of Alghero, close to shops and restaurants. The rooms are quite basic but clean and functional. Some rooms have a lovely sea view. The rooftop bar which doubles as a breakfast room is the best in Alghero with great views. I did not try the spa but I believe it is very nice. "

"We had amazing sunsets from the balcony and an easy walk to the old town. Antonella, who checked us in, made our stay exceptional with her restaurant recommendations and places to visit. "Location: 30 mins walk along the beach front promenade from the old town. Buses unreliable & parking on the streets difficult. Car Park at hotel 15 euro/day. Everywhere very clean & well maintained. Small pool area with good sunbeds and umbrellas - no problems with towels on beds early Sept - hotel quiet. We stayed 3 adults in a two bed comfort apt - 5F - 2 balconies, new furniture, modern bathroom, good aircon, free safe. Was missing a kettle and a toaster - managed to get a kettle from reception. No large glasses or wine glasses. Some noise from the padel court next door but probably not a problem in all blocks of the hotel. Overall a good stay. "
