STAY AWAY!! I NEVER leave reviews, but felt compelled to warn others about this property. Where should I begin? 1) Unable to lock back door leaving the house completely unsecured. The deadbolt is non-functional and the door is held together by a flimsy makeshift chain not intended for French doors. My husband works in construction and knows how to operate a simple deadbolt despite the manager's false claim that it works. In the morning we found a vagrant on the property further highlighting the need for basic security in a large city center 2) Complete lack of privacy. There are no window coverings on several windows, allowing people on the sidewalk to see directly into the home. 3) The home was not adequately cleaned with evidence of roaches. There were dirty cabinets in the kitchen. The floors were sticky with visible grime. A roach carcass was found in the hallway. 4) The refrigerator was not sufficiently cold with a broken thermostat. 5) The floors creak horribly underfoot in every section of the house. Overall, the home is in general disrepair. 6) There was active construction across the street with jackhammering and heavy equipment at 7am. The manager's response to our concerns was completely dishonest and dismissive. We ended up vacating early and booking at a hotel. The manager still refuses to refund us despite gross misrepresentations of the property and substandard conditions. Steer clear of this listing and any other properties managed by this company.
