「If you looking for a place to relax and enjoy nature this is the perfect property. The property is close to Durango but far enough out of town to see the wildlife. Great fly fishing is just a few feet from the front door of the cabin. 」

We would be so delighted to stay there again. Relaxing, accommodating, had everything we needed for a peaceful Labor Day weekend with family. 」

「Cabin was great! Beautiful view of the mountains off of the deck. Wildlife every morning and evening. Cabin was clean and well stocked with supplies and accessories. Dean was an amazing host, he was in constant communication with us, before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend this relaxing getaway. We will definitely come back and visit.」

「We absolutely loved this place - we wanted privacy on the mountain and that's what we got! We walked out the door and hiked up a mountain, we drove 5 minutes and checked out Pinkerton Hot Spring, we drove N. 25 minutes and hiked Cascades waterfall! The house has EVERYTHING we needed and was appointed with everything I forgot to bring, a true delight while on vacay with children! The only complaint about our stay - we didn't realize the highway would be so loud. At night there isn't much traffic...

「The property in Lake Purgatory drive was perfect for our vacation in July. There was a beautiful view of the mountains and hummingbirds that we enjoyed while relaxing on the back deck. Temperatures were perfect as it is about ten degrees cooler than the city of Durango. All of the accommodations were wonderful. The owners original artwork was a unique touch that we enjoyed. We highly recommend the property!」

Great coffee pot too! If you are looking for an intimate secluded home on the river this is it!! Great communication with the owners too!! 」

「The cabin was perfect. Very clean and exactly as described in the add. The only discrepancy was the Internet information that was sent to us had a different network name, this was not an issue as the correct information was on the instructions at the cabin. Our dogs loved the backyard.」
