“Monica was the best, to start we wanted her to make us supper the 1st night but I got back to her late and she had already made plans to attend an olive oil festival at a hamlet a few miles from her Villa. She invited us to attend with her and it was the best way to start out our visit, when you watch tv and see Italy with everyone from the town eating together, it was exactly like that an 8 course meal with all the wine you could drink it was amazing. Lovely location - we did the walk up to Montecarlo most days to sample some of the local restaurants and coffee shops - and an easy drive into Altopascio for food shopping.
