“I booked Luxury Condos Menlo Park through Hotels.com expecting a clean, comfortable, and professionally managed stay. What I actually experienced was incredibly disappointing and far from the quality described in the listing. Right from day one, there were serious issues. Most notably, there was no running water when I arrived. I had to reach out to management just to understand what was going on, and there was no proactive communication about such a major problem. It took nearly an entire day……

“Worst travel experience of the last 5 years for me. I will never stay here again. They double booked my the unit I had been assigned and by the time I had arrived, it was the late evening and I had to spend over 4 hours on the phone with two companies’ resepctive support lines, a total of some 7 support agents, after numerous escalations and the same circular conversation that did not resolve anything. Worst decision I made this trip. I will not make that decision ever again and will avoid at……

“I didn't receive check-in information until i was leaving home for the airport, not helpful. The complex does not have a swimming pool, though hotels-com says it does. There is a small area to sit next to a large heated spa pool, but my fob never worked on the door to the area, despite numerous complaints. I was allocated an apartment on the ground floor with windows on one side only, looking over a walk way straight at another block or apartments. No direct sunlight, so the apartment was dingy……

“This place is gorgeous, it's walkable to a grocer, to a beach, and to a bus stop. We felt safe, comfortable, and communicated with the entire stay. I will look to stay in this immaculately clean, beautifully designed home anytime I'm in the Bay area.”
