“Basically, everything works at the Mayan. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean with well equipped kitchens, and while it’s not in the least bit luxurious, it’s very nice. Reaching for just a couple of small complaints, there’s a bad odor on the lane outside the only entry/exit, and you have to knock on the window at the entrance if you want the water turned on so that you can rinse the sand from your feet. But, hey, it’s San Pedro! You could pay a lot more and still not beat the convenience,……
