"We were confused and could not follow the instructions on how to check in. Really needed to have a car because you check in at one place and then are sent to where you are actually staying. Never did figure it out to check in. Very difficult if you have to schlep your bags by yourself. "

You have to go up a flight of 7 brick stairs to get to the bath, which is a woefully inadequate shower. The hair dryer is affixed to the wall where there’s no mirror. The staff is lovely, but part of the time no one seems to be about. "

"Travelled with my wife and only chose the town because she was keen to experience the nearby Bagni San Fillipo.But Gli Archi and the town Abbadia San Salvatore both pleasantly surprised us. The house and our room were spotless and the owner lovelly.Room was huge and breakfast tasty. The Abbadia (Abbey) proved to be memorable,especially the multi columned crypt! Nearby Ospedale was perfect for all day free parking an easy walk from B&B."

The restored the property in 2018 to be a charming small inn that is nestled in the Tuscan hills five or six miles from the hilltop fortress of Montalcino. Two very good restaurants in town that Michele was more than happy to contact for dinner reservations. Breakfast in the courtyard was a lovely way to start the day. "

"Located in old town this is a great place to stay with a really great view of the Tuscan hills. Highly rated restaurant just below this B&B. The owner Mario is very knowledgeable of the area and is very helpful and overall great guy. He also provides eco tours that are really a remarkable experience."
