Beautiful Inn, room & common spaces were very cozy. Almost like home. Small refrigerator and kurig in room. Common space has more hot beverages and a microwave. Breakfast available at a nearby as an addition per person at an inn just down the block (1 min drive though we could have walked). We would love to stay again. And we will recommend this inn.

Love everything about the J Patrick Inn. It feels like home. As you enter there is a warm and cozy area with a coffee maker, coffee pods, a variety of tea choices, oatmeal packets and cookies. Each room is unique, immaculately clean,and cozy with all necessary amenities: coffee maker, water in the refrigerator, a king size bed, a lovely fireplace & a giant TV with access to Hulu & Netflix. There is even a wonderful house cat that is often outside as you check in.
It is also easy to check in & out by using a code sent by Email on arrival day.
If you would like a delicious meal in a relaxing atmosphere just walk up the street to the Cambria Pine’s Lodge. You will love it!!

We love saying at the J Patrick Inn! It is such a beautiful property and so calm and relaxing! Everything is taken care of, even down to cookies for snack time! Coffee AND tea to make and enjoy on a foggy morning. The breakfast is wonderful, too; just don't forget to add it on to your reservation if you book through a site other than J Patrick's own website! Best place ever!!

Very clean, easy communication and checkin and out.
The beddings and things are a bit old but well maintained.
Hotels.com, please work with them so we can have the option for the free breakfast. Hotels.com didn't tell me that they offer free hot breakfast if you book through their website.

This place was charming and comfortable. Lots of extra touches, like a cold carafe of water in the fridge, plenty of coffee and creamer in the room, an option to have a small breakfast delivered to your room, all things that made my solo stay even more enjoyable. Loved the fireplace in the room!

Very quiet, woodsy setting just off main road. Easy to reach and well-situated for a visit to Cambria and environs. Since there are only 7 rooms altogether, the proprietors operate the guest house WITHOUT any one in personal attendance. You are given parking directions in an email and a key code to enter the building and your room, so there is no key or keycard to mess with.
We spent a bit of time hunting for our room, since no one was there to tell us that we needed to go upstairs. The theme of the place is thoroughly Irish (no doubt the heritage of J. Patrick himself, whoever he may be), and the rooms are each named after a county of the "Emerald Isle." We'd missed the well-placed "road sign" at the base of the stairs directing tourists toward Donegal, but once situated we didn't really need much help from "staff."
There is a self-serve Kuerig machine and supplies in the common area and cookies set out wordlessly. It is, indeed, very folksy and homey and yet entirely comfortable. The house cleaner was around to tell that the shampoo and body gel dispensers in the shower were empty, and she did refill them and put out dry towels, though she didn't bother to make the bed. Irish tradition? Who knows?
