"A basic 5-star hotel featuring some spacious condos with private pools. While a few staff members are outstanding, many are unfriendly. Amenities like valet, bar, music, buffet breakfast, and stylish Versace-inspired features are available, even though they can be tacky and often unclean; overall, however, everything feels average or below expectations."

"Parking is secure, the staff at check-in are friendly and helpful. The pool is beautiful and it is a great location to explore the Gold Coast. The balconies on the rooms are great to sit and enjoy the beautiful views and breeze. My teenage daughter loved the spa. The only small negative, and this was not a surprise as it is in the listing, is that there are no lifts. The views make up for this. This is our second stay and we wouldnt hesitate to stay again. "

"Old room coddled together with furniture left over it seemed that didn't have much room left, microwave almost rusted through, general feeling of uncleanliness. Not 4 star, beds awful, grubby place. Everything worn out, kettle and toaster greasy, 4 plates but 2 bowls, 2 mismatched glasses for 4 bed room. Corroded taps, water damaged and old laminex and door bottoms, rust. cracked mug, so many things, I don't complain but this was out of the box bad."

"Clean room, kids friendly atmosphere, but restaurants ( main and pizza one) still not good. Poor choice of kids menu, everything is very oily and not really for kids. We are here 5th time and it’s not that you are expecting in such big resort. Breakfast buffet is big, but not really interesting. Also the restaurant next to the water, which used to be good still closed. The only good one for us was Japanese restaurant, but it’s working not all week."
