Laurel Cottage is welcoming a luxurious new addition! From November 2026, guests can enjoy the added indulgence of a hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the beautiful Isle of Wight countryside and coastline.



Hot tub use is included in the price for bookings made on or after 1 November 2026. Guests who booked before this date can also enjoy the hot tub by arranging access for an additional charge.



About The Property



From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the sense of luxury with motion sensor lighting, a stunning oak staircase, and engineered oak flooring throughout much of the home. The heart of the property is a large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, ideal for socialising, relaxing, and creating lasting memories. Enjoy a film on the 50” Smart TV, or stream your favourite music through the Sonos sound system with integrated ceiling speakers.



The fully equipped kitchen includes double ovens, a five-ring gas hob, dual air fryer, combi microwave/oven/grill, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Tassimo coffee machine, and a central island with breakfast bar seating — perfect for casual meals or entertaining. Bi-folding doors open from the living and dining areas onto the decked sun lounge and enclosed garden, while French doors lead to the rear patio and barbecue area, offering multiple outdoor spaces for relaxation or alfresco dining.



Laurel Cottage comfortably accommodates 10 guests across five bedrooms, two with en-suite facilities. Each bedroom is designed for comfort and convenience, featuring underfloor heating with individual thermostats, Smart TVs, USB sockets, fitted wardrobes, and luxury laminate flooring. The family bathroom, wet room, and en-suite shower rooms include drench showers, sensor lighting, illuminated mirrors, and vanity units.



Outside, guests can enjoy the decked sun lounge, landscaped gardens, barbecue area and ample private parking. Bookings made before 1 November 2026: Hot tub use is optional and available for an additional charge. Guests wishing to use the hot tub should contact The Island Holiday Company in advance to arrange access.



Bookings made on or after 1 November 2026: Hot tub use is included in the booking price.



Guests who choose not to use the hot tub can continue to enjoy all the other facilities at Laurel Cottage as usual.

The golden sands of Sandown are just a five-minute drive, offering water sports and family fun, and merge into Shanklin, home to the charming Chine and Old Village. History enthusiasts can explore Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, the Lavender Farm, and the Donkey Sanctuary. With coastal paths, excellent local dining, and a variety of attractions nearby, there is never a dull moment on the island.



Guest Essentials & Important Information



Guests can choose to pay a non-refundable damage waiver (£75) or provide a pre-authorised security deposit (£500) before check-in. (The deposit is only charged if damage is reported within 7 days after departure.)



Pets: Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome (£35 per dog, per week). Please bring your own pet bedding and add pets at booking so the fee is included. If undeclared pets are discovered, the fee will be requested separately.
