"This start was amazing The hotel itself is beautiful and right across from a Nascar race track. The bed are super comfy and the staff was very very good. I will be staying here with my family every time I visit."

"One of the worst rooms. Condom packages outside of the door, people screaming all night and there was no bathroom door on our room? Our first room was covered in a ton water all over the floor.. The rooms we’re disgusting reeked of smoke.. It was trash all over the walkways and “hallways” The shower curtains and towels were covered in some random stains."

"If we could have left no stars and simply wrote a review, we would have. Despite the staff being decent, we can’t find anything else nice to say about our stay here. It should have been a two night stay, and we would have gladly stayed “no nights”, but there were H.S. graduations happening in the area and all hotels were booked our first, and only, night there. We were booked into a bottom floor room and when we opened the door, we turned around and walked back to the office and asked for a different room. Room #2 really wasn’t any better, but at least the comforter in this room didn’t have a dinner plate sized stain on it. The floors in both rooms were filthy and covered in stains. The bedding was old and as worn out as the mattress was. It sagged in the middle to the point where it pulled you in like a black hole. Simply terrifying. The rooms looked circa 1980 and probably haven’t seen a proper cleaning since then. The complimentary coffee machine looked like it would pour sludge instead of coffee. The parking lot was also full of potholes. Dead giveaway, folks! Before I wrap this up, I cannot forget to mention the disgusting bathroom. It looked straight out of an episode of CSI. The walls were streaked with some sort of brown residue and there was a used towel with brown streaks on it left by a former guest on the back of the bathroom door. I believe I’ve said enough. I’ll just leave this right here for you fellow travelers. Travel safe!"

"The Boxly Place Inn truly felt like a warm, welcoming retreat in Louisa, Virginia. This charming house, built in the late 1800s, is packed with character and a sense of history. It shows some wear from the years, but it’s still incredibly cozy and inviting. The hostess who greeted me was lovely, giving me a personal tour and sharing some interesting stories about the building, which made my visit feel special and unique. Overall, it was a wonderful experience—relaxing, comfortable, and just what I was hoping for, exceeding all my expectations."
