Loggerhead Cay 224 is a fourth floor vacation rental condo on Sanibel Island. Loggerhead Cay #224 managed by Select Vacation Properties~ This condo at Loggerhead Cay will spoil the whole family. Smart TV's, high-speed internet, a fabulous view, and beautiful grounds, one of the largest swimming pools on Sanibel, tennis courts, and all the comforts of home. That morning cup of coffee from the large lanai overlooking the pool and beach will seem extra special from Loggerhead Cay 224. Convenient to the bike path, restaurants, shopping, and the causeway, Loggerhead Cay seems off the beaten path but its location and beautiful courtyard make it a real gem.

Great location near everything, beautiful beach, large pool, condo had everything we needed to prepare meals & to enjoy a day at the beach. Property was very well manicured & cared for well. Overall, excellent experience!

Almost great- if only there were 4 walls!

Condo, location, kitchen, bathrooms - all overall almost perfect. Largest call out is a lesson learned- make sure a bedroom has 4 walls when you book. Had we known the master had no door and was a “sliding blind” we’d have skipped entirely. Had to put the kids in the master and sleep on the little kid beds. Beyond this MAJOR issue that was crystal clear from the images in retrospect, location was fantastic! Condo was really nice and had everything we needed and more beach chairs and umbrellas, but we brought our own).

Spring Break 2022

Listing is accurate. Full kitchen with plenty of utensils, cookware, glasses, etc. Regular coffee pot as well. Enough seating inside and on the screened in patio. Stairs are available along with the elevator for those heavy loads. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms looked recently remodeled. They supplied dish soap and soap for the dishwasher. A few extra rolls of TP and 1 roll of paper towels. Washer and dryer right when you walk in. Super grateful for that option with swim wear and beach towels. The pool has about 40 seats around it. The beach was just a short walk down the brick paver path. This is a great property for families. Would love to visit again!

Loggerhead Cay rental

The condo is nice, clean. Kitchen is the best we have had. The property is not kid friendly. Adult swim from 8-9 and 4-5. Had we known this we would not have rented here. The listing should state this information. The grills are far from condo and not working good. Sanibel is great. We have stayed several places but won’t come back here.

The rental process was easy, seem less, and accurate. The condo actually surpassed our expectations, that has rarely happened for us. We had two adult married couples, and the layout was perfect. We each had our own bedroom and private bath. Excellently appointed with plenty of supplies, dishes, linens, etc. very clean, gorgeous property. A five star stay for us.

Spacious, great view

Nice view to the beach and directly overlooking the pool. Loved the number of empty drawers and cabinets, plenty of room to unpack for the week (some VRBOs are so crammed with existing stuff that it is hard to fit in your own). This was a a generously sized condo for a family of four. Management company helpful with all questions. Would stay again!

Nice Sanibel Condo

We had everything we needed and loved the proximity to the pool and beach. The King bed was very comfortable. My girls liked having separate full sized beds in their room. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were lots of beach chairs and supplies. I love the easy checkin and door code so we didn’t have to keep up with keys.

The condo is in the perfect location right next to the beach. Just 3 mile walk to the light house where wild dolphins like to fish.

June beach vacation

Good = low crowds, good weather, close to beach, warm gulf, comfortable beds, pool was better for lap swimming than other places we have stayed and cold AC. Bad = lots of bugs in condo, musty odor in unit, a bit dated master bath tub had stains but worked. Other 3 units had a cooler for the beach so we had to buy one after getting there, beach towels included were pretty ratty. No bikes included which other properties had for us. We will return to Sanibel but not to this unit. I did not discuss with property manager so they may have attempted to address but really just wanted to enjoy the area more than deal with condo issues.
