Spring Break

Excellent location just steps from the beach. Manager service was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The screened in balcony was a favorite to take in the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. We spent most of our time on the beach or taking in the sights and activities on Sanibel and Captiva but did make use of the tennis courts for some pickle ball.

Wonderful!

We had a great stay here in July. The property was nicely decorated and furnished, perfectly coordinated. Loved the location tucked away from the road and right on the beach. Enjoyed the large lanai and view from it. It did rain quite a bit during our stay and we found ourselves wanting to watch more tv than usual. A larger tv with streaming apps or providing some movies to go with the dvd player would be a nice addition to the unit. Hope to return here next year.

Very clean and easy access to the beach.

Everything you need for a relaxing stay. The grocery store is close to the property. Beach chairs were available, as well as a canopy and umbrella for shade. They also provide beach towels and noodles to float. We also noticed fishing poles later in the stay, but we didn’t use them this time. We will definitely be booking another stay!

Great Getaway

An awesome getaway for our family of four! Amazing panoramic views of the open sea from our screened-in porch. The best shelling we have ever seen on the beach. Dolphins near the shoreline almost every day! The only complaint we had is the no-see-ums. The only thing that seemed to work was this No-See-Um Spray and Avon's Skin So Soft. They have plenty of both available at the local stores. Great to communicate with the management with email responses within 12 hours at the most. Would definitely do this again!

Excellent Stay!

We can’t wait to come stay in Sanibel again, and when we do, we will be staying at Sandy Bend! Quiet, beautiful condos, exceptionally clean and right on the beach. With the wide, double sliding glass doors, the view of the Gulf is just stunning from all over the unit. . It is located within a short distance of grocery and dining. This was an excellent experience. We will be back here for sure.

Only negative comment I can make about the property is that the AC needs to be changed out. The place had a smell to it. Also you might want to get some shades that actually block out light for that master bedroom area. Other than that, our stay was very nice.

There were communication issues. After payment had already been made in full, we received emails in error regarding incomplete payment and threatening cancellation. Other than these registration issues, the rental was great - spacious and right on the beach.

Beautiful view, excellent location

The condo was just like the pictures. The place was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the non-commercialized feel on the area, lots of bike and walking trails. We did have a problem with the no see ums, so when they recommend bug repellent you should take it seriously. I was surprised to see how well stocked the island grocery store was, great deli selection. We had a great time.

Great View, Great Place!

The view is awesome from this second story condo. You see the beach from every room except the second bedroom. The place was remodeled very nicely and was very clean. We parked the car upon arrival and didn't start it up again until ready to leave the island; we rode bikes all over town to shop and eat and drink.
