The Palmyra is a wonderful hotel - the bedrooms surround a courtyard and our room was beautiful with a cathedral ceiling and modern bathroom. A very good traditional Turkish breakfast is served in a sun-drenched rooftop terrace, and there are separate terraces and seating areas around the courtyard. 24 hour reception, free internet and free parking next to the hotel - everything that makes for an enjoyable stay. Staff are courteous and very helpful and the location is only 100 meters from one side of the huge covered bazaar in downtown Sanliurfa where you’ll find the same offerings as Istanbul for half the price or less. The Palmyra is a real find and highly recommended.

Very clean, quiet and beautiful hotel. Breakfast was delicious but no meat which I didn’t mind. The only downside was that hot water didn’t work so I had to take a cold shower.

We received a complimentary upgrade to the suite and it was wonderful. If you can afford it, book it as it was an amazing room. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Suggested dinner with show at a nearby hotel which was wonderful as well. Great experience!

The staff was very helpful even if they didn’t speak fluent English, we were able to communicate. The breakfast on the terrace was an experience to be had. The assortment of cheese, bread and local flavors was delicious. Definitely a place to stay.

The location is excellent, close to several attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. In the evenings, there's a party next to the hotel with loud music, but I wasn't bothered by it. Parking is "free" next to the hotel, although the parking attendants asked for money or proof of the hotel upon departure. Fortunately, this was promptly resolved by a staff member. All in all, a great place to stay.

Lovely Boutique Hotel

Lovely hotel within a short walk to Abraham’s Cave and Fish pond. Lovely comfortable room with great wifi. Wifi reached the bedroom. Hot water within a modern well presented bathroom. Spacious, magical outdoor area to chill. Got great advice from the hotel to get a bus to Gazientep from the Archeological Museum. Wish we could have stayed one night longer

Hotel is in the old city , surrounding area is dirty. Wouldn’t go out at night … There was no one at the front desk and no one spoke English. Breakfast was good, buffet. The room was very large with 25ft high ceilings..quite impressive.

Host was great, went above and beyond to give information about the entire state and city. Mehmet bey allowed us to check in early and to check out later. Room was clean, grounds were clean, breakfast was delicious, staff extremely helpful. Would recommend to anyone, was an excellent experience.
