My sweet Momma is the reason the beach is my happy place. It’s her favorite place to be .. she is now 81 with mobility challenges. It’s always my goal to take her to the beach for her birthday and finding places she can be comfortable and still enjoy the environment has become a challenge. This is our second stay in this beautiful cottage. It’s a home away from home with easy access to our favorite memories. I can still take her for a walk on the beach during the day and tuck back into this cozy home after. God willing I will be bringing her back soon. Everything we need, always clean, beautiful views . Backroads everywhere we want to go so we can avoid traffic. Love this place. Thank you for sharing the comforts of home !

Situated on a top of the ridge, you can see the ocean in the morning and enjoy your morning coffee and towards the afternoon you can have a beer while enjoying the mountain views in the back patio. Very relaxing and secluded, highly recommended to escape the stress of the bay.

The cottage was a wonderful place to stay for the weekend. The location was perfect, very quiet and safe neighborhood as well. The cottage had everything you could want - pantry stock with items, clean linens and very clean. We would definitely stay there again. Very nice experience!

We spent 3 nights enjoying the amazing sunsets, close proximity to the beaches and simple walks in the gorgeous neighborhood. Highly recommend to any small family or small group. Very comfortable living and easy to feel like this is your own home.

Wonderful accommodations! The home is equipped with everything you ever need including beach chairs; ice chest.... we loved the map of the kitchen showing where everything was stored! The neighborhood is quiet, scenery lovely! We will go back again.

“Cottage” is the word we kept saying. We came up for my mother-in-law’s memorial gathering, which was a very sweet event, and 621 Vista Del Mar was the perfect place to leave from and come back to. While it is a two bedroom, one bath place, six adults and 3 under twos were just fine. The surrounding decks, location, and views made the place seem much larger, and the inside is well apportioned. We felt fortunate to have found such a place.

The home was perfect for our family of five. It's small, but with the open floor plan, lots of light, and gorgeous patio space we never felt too crowded. We did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen had all we needed. We enjoyed out meals on the table outside. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the views were stunning. We'd stay here again!

We arrived at the cottage just in time for sunset. It was so nice to have a view of the bay through the trees. It was a very peaceful little place. My family and I enjoyed it very much. My only complaint would be the door knob for the bathroom sticks and my 3 year old got stuck a few times. Thank you again!

We absolutely loved our little cottage getaway! Girls weekend, plenty of room, cozy, the porches were perfect to hang outside and enjoy the beautiful weather :) Perfect little spot with all the comforts of home, we will definitely be booking this one again!!!

We loved this beautiful "treehouse" cottage in the hills of Aptos. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and myself. It is very quiet and serene. The property is well appointed and very clean. Thank YOU for a wonderful romantic time.....we WILL BE BACK!!!

Perfect little retreat! It had the perfect mix of old world charm with all the convenience of modernaity. The location is perfect easy access to Santa Cruze which has a great old style boardwalk, Monterey with its great sea food and opportunity to whale watch. The beach at Aptos is lovely in itself and we were lucky enough to see whales from the beach just spectacular!! The cottage itself is clean and well equiped everything has been thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are a choice of supermarkets in a short drive and a plethora of lovely resturants. All in all a highly recommended rental.

We came to Aptos for a family Christmas with our Children and 2 granddaughters. This home was absolutely perfect for us. We love being outside and with a deck on each side, one facing morning sun, the other getting the afternoon light, was perfection. We arrived in pouring rain, and as that gave way to a low fog in the valley off the back of the house, the view with smoke from chimneys rising among the glistening trees and interesting rooftops was stunning.... we could not believe the beautiful scene. From the front we realized we were looking at the ocean, with the clouds just above. It was such a calming and beautiful beginning to our trip. Bed was super comfy, house heats quickly and adjusts easily to the temp we wanted. Plugged my iphone in and the music sounded great. Kitchen well appointed (except no regular sugar for my impromptu Lemon Drop!! ) Wonderful home, thanks for sharing it with us. We look forward to using this as a home base when we visit as often as we can.

darling well equiped house with beautiful decks, we enjoyed outdoor bbq, great kitchen, good beds, ...would highly recommend for price and location....fantastic beach nearby....family...and dog beach...not crowded....good stuff to see in santa cruz and even watsonville, otters at mossy end landing....perfect....only drawbacks: water not hot enough for a good hot shower, have to pay for even normal cable channels, the check out was extended for us til noon, person managing, very personable and efficient....highly recommend, wonderful view, quiet as well

We had an amazing weekend. This little cottage had everything we needed. It's deck and patio was perfect to BBQ dinner. The location was good. Not far from everything we had plan to do. The cottage is small but the space is used well. The only down fall where the beds. The twin matrasses where hard and you could feel the springs in the pull out couch. Also wished check in time was earlier. Other the. That loved our stay.
