Ideal for couples or solo travellers, this accommodation features an inviting living room with a dining area. The living area is equipped with a comfortable sofa with a chaise longue, perfect for relaxing and watching TV after a day of sightseeing.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and ideal for preparing all daily meals. In addition to crockery and basic utensils, the kitchen has a kettle, coffee machine, microwave, oven, gas hob, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as other appliances to help with your daily routine.

Access to the balcony is conveniently from the living room, so you can easily enjoy the outdoors, have breakfast outside and take advantage of the wonderful natural light during the day. The balcony offers a privileged view over the pool area. The stay includes access to the shared outdoor pool.

The bedroom is harmoniously decorated, providing a serene environment for rest. It is spacious and equipped with a comfortable double bed and a practical built-in wardrobe for storing your belongings.

The bathroom has all the amenities, including towels and toiletries for your convenience.

For your complete convenience, the apartment has a private garage and access to a fantastic shared pool.

Located in the sunny and welcoming town of Caniço, this accommodation offers the perfect balance between the tranquillity of a prestigious coastal area and the immense convenience of having everything at your doorstep. The energy of this neighbourhood is relaxed and vibrant in just the right measure. Along this road, you will find within a short walking distance an excellent variety of delicious restaurants, cafés, bakeries and small shops, many of them on the ground floor of the building, allowing you to experience the authentic Madeiran lifestyle in complete comfort.

The great highlight of this location is its extraordinary natural beauty and its privileged connection to the sea. Just a few minutes away is the imposing Cristo Rei Viewpoint, which offers breathtaking panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean and the bay. From here, you can descend on the picturesque cable car to the stunning Garajau beach and Nature Reserve. This is a true marine sanctuary, world-famous for its calm and crystal-clear waters, and the ultimate destination for unforgettable swimming, snorkelling and diving.

Despite being a coastal oasis, the location is incredibly strategic. Thanks to quick and easy access to the expressway, the vibrant heart of the capital, Funchal, is just 10 to 15 minutes away by car. This allows you to enjoy the city's great attractions on a daily basis — such as the colourful Mercado dos Lavradores, the lively alleyways and gastronomy of the Old Town, or the cable car ride up to the lush gardens of Monte — while always being able to return to the peace of Garajau at the end of the day.

As a central base for exploring the island, the proximity to other major tourist attractions is also a huge advantage. On a short trip eastwards, you will quickly reach the welcoming town of Santa Cruz with its charming seafront promenade, and the historic town of Machico, where you can relax on one of the island's rare and much sought-after golden sandy beaches, before venturing along the region's famous natural trails.

The apartment is well served by public transport, with a bus stop just a few minutes' walk away.

Horários do Funchal buses connect Garajau to the centre of Funchal on a regular basis.

For greater convenience, we recommend using taxis or car rental services, which allow you to explore the island with total freedom.

Madeira International Airport is approximately 10 minutes away by car.

This is a self check-in property and you will be asked to verify your identity before being able to check in to the apartment (15:00). We ask all guests to fill in a registration form which will be sent after booking confirmation, in accordance with the legal obligations stipulated by the local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g. smell of tobacco, ash, cigarette butts, etc.), we reserve the right to charge a fee of at least €200 EUR.

Please note that for stays of more than 30 nights, a fair use utility policy will apply with an included limit of €80.

For the first few days, we provide the following basic amenities: small containers of shower gel, shampoo and soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, washing-up liquid and bin bags.

Extra keys: €20 (extra set when possible, lost keys or door opening service).
Extra cleaning: price of a cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (towels and sheets for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).

Please note: A rental contract must be signed online prior to your arrival. We will not be able to provide your check-in instructions until the contract is signed.
