Lovely apartment

When we arrived we were impressed by the spaciousness of the apartment,all the areas were well planned and very bright and airey.Everything we wanted for our 2 week stay was there,so overall this suited our needs.The only downside was the fact that despite it's fantastic views of the Atlantic ocean,the position was very elevated,although we knew by the photo's we were not expecting such a tiresome walk to and from the beach.The nearest local supermarket was down the hill and was a effort to get supplies back up around a 20 min round trip.After a couple of days we realised that for a couple in their early 60's the shopping trip was not an easy task,so what we decided to do was to catch the bus at the top of the hill about 300mts away and go on day trips and combine this with doing the shopping,this was a lot easier for us.For anyone who likes walking this would not be a problem but for us it was a chore.Overall we were happy with the apartment but if we were aware of the the hilly position we would probably have not gone for it.Please do not me put anyone off this property it was very modern and clean.

We enjoyed the beach the most

We spent most of our week on the beach in front of the apartment eating the local specialities at the little restaurant. Apartment was great and just like the photos. Brilliant holiday and absolutely love Madeira.

Loved It!

We had a perfect stay in this beautiful apartment in Canico de Baixo. It looks right over the sea and we made the most of it by sitting on the balcony for hours. The apartment was really stylish and modern and had ample facilities in the kitchen to make a full evening meal, so after a day of hiking, we cooked and enjoyed the view. I really wanted to stay longer ....... If your thinking of booking do it! You wont regret staying in this lovely apartment. Thanks to the lady who met us with the keys and the emails from Mike. We truly had a wonderful stay and hope to be back soon

Relaxing time

The property was very clean, comfortable and tastfully furnished. Mike the owner was extremely helpful as we were staying for Christmas and the New year he told us which restaurants were open and which ones he recommended on his recommendation we had a wonderful Christmas dinner on Christmas day at the Ritz Café .The photo you see on his advert is the view from the veranda which I might add runs the whole length of the apartment. A lovely place to chill out and unwind from the stresses of every day life.
