Awesome location just steps from Twin Lakes beach. We enjoyed the view from the decks and the sound of the ocean while we rested at night. House and decor are older and could use some maintenance and upgrades, but this was definitely a great deal for a property so close to the ocean.

Great stay in Santa Cruz

Loved the property. Great location with sea views. We were a family of five with three teenage children and this property was perfect for us. Fresh flowers on arrival was a very nice touch too. Thank you ☺️

Fun Beach House

We had such a great time staying in this quirky beach house. The location was perfect for our needs. The beach is just steps away and so convenient. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Crow’s Nest just a short walk away and walked to the Boardwalk in about 25 minutes to enjoy a fun filled day. The house is definitely older and could use some work but it was clean and we felt comfortable. It had everything we needed and the location was the best!

Santa Cruz Never Disappoints!

We had a last minute opportunity to getaway for the weekend and are so happy we rented this vacation gem. We all loved the location, cleanliness, and the old charm of this vacation home. Interesting do-dads, and art work throughout the home. I felt like we were staying at a family members home, comfortable and relaxing. The beach is just across the street, perfect to watch the sunset with a glass of wine.

The perfect little beach cottage

This place is truly a gem. We brought our e-bikes and rode all around Santa Cruz- the boardwalk, the wharf- everywhere. In the evenings we took the short walk down to the beach to watch the sunsets. At night we got to fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. The interior of the cottage is decorated so cute with antique furniture and fixtures. It was also well equipped with everything we needed. It was a very cozy stay and we can’t wait to book it again next year.

Annual birthday trip

Check in was the easy and zero hassle. The home is as pictured. It’s most comfortable and absolutely delightful. Its charm is like a story book. There were puzzles, a few games and BOOKS! The home is well equipped with everything you need. The location is beyond perfect to the beach, the wharf, and the boardwalk. There are so many cute shops nearby. The communication is beyond the amazing. We had the best time to celebrate my daughter’s 15th birthday. We will happily stay again!.

Amazing trip through time to a perfect SC

The location is perfect. The house is like where your grandpa and grandpa lived and you loved to visit them. It’s almost museum like in the decor and feel. The house is spotless and perfectly clean with ZERO smell of mildew as can often come with older homes close to the water. No washer dryer but you are close to Seabright where there’s a great laundry between Betty Burgers and the deli. I have stayed in many places over the years in the SC area and this is top tier unless you’re looking for ultra modern decor. I would go back here in a second and every summer if I could. Wonderful. Loved.

Location is the best

It was very much a cottage feel but definitely needs structural attention Floors are definitely not level and when family was upstairs you could see the ceiling dipping downstairs as they walked around

It felt like home

The location is fantastic and the decks have great views. The house is old and kind of funky, but it is big, it works and it has a nice beach house vibe. The arrangements were really easy.

Awesome Adventure

We love this place. This is our second time here and we would love to come back again. Location couldnt be any better and the house has so much charm and character. The views from the deck and several windows in the house are so beautiful and relaxing. Check in and out are simple and the house has everything you need to make family memories that will last a lifetime

Perfect weekend getaway

Loved our stay here. Perfect location for family. Beach steps away. Lovely and fun beach. Capitola bike ride away. Boardwalk same. Brought our bikes and went everywhere. Including wilder state park. Drove to Aptos for a few hours on that beach. Loved the management team. Super helpful and responsive. Want to stay again for sure!

Wonderful beach front cottage!

Our group enjoyed the cozy charm of this rental! Wonderful accommodations, gorgeous views and just steps away from the beach! The host was so helpful when we had questions about the property and needed assistance finding things during our stay. They were always quick to respond and even alerted us to items left behind (oops) which we were able to pick up before we left town. We had the best time and absolutely plan to return!

Funky beachside cottage with plenty of space, perfect location, and lovely views. The beach is just steps away and you can listen to the waves all night long. Convenient to shops, restaurants, the Boardwalk, and everything Santa Cruz has to offer.

Quirky, cute beach house

We loved our stay at this house. Its proximity to the beach and the harbor side restaurants made for easy days. Our 7-year-old granddaughter was enchanted with the upstairs bedroom with its little ladder to the balcony. Our small dog was happy with the deck and front area. It was like staying at grandma’s house if your grandma lived in a quirky, cool house full of knick-knacks in a beach town. Mine did, so on top of just enjoying the comfort and whimsical nature of the house, the nostalgia made me feel right at home. We will definitely plan another trip to this house!

Location 5 stars, beds & windows 1 star

The location is spectacular- you can see and hear the waves from multiple locations on the property. If you like quaint then this is your place. We struggled with the old beds and first floor windows that wouldn’t/couldn’t open. The floor is quite uneven and is awkward to walk on. 5 stars that it’s dog friendly, the deck was a secure place for our dog to hang out with us, but the lower landscape area was not secure. While stocked with pots/pans, the kitchen is very rustic, don’t plan on making big meals in it. We enjoyed the location, being close to our favorite beach with our fur baby, but had to cut the trip short since we were so uncomfortable.
