There was decent space for our group of 7. Dining room could be bigger, but the backyard had nice space- a dining table, fire pit, and nice area to sit. 5-10 min walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. I read previous reviews about not enough kitchen supplies, but when we stayed, there were enough pots/pans/dishes/cups for our needs, which included making/eating breakfast at the house.

Great Location!

Such a lovely home with plenty of space for our family during our stay. The home is in a nice, quiet location and on a cul-de-sac. Easy and short walk to the beach as well as restaurants and coffee shops. Highly recommend!

Comfortable House

This was a great place to stay with teenagers. Beautiful backyard and walking distance to a beach. A few things around the house need updating, but overall a functional place on a quiet street.

Quiet and convenient to the beach

This property is the perfect area for being in Santa Cruz. A 6 minute walk to the beach. The beach is not overly populated with people. The area is quiet. It is easy to get to the freeway as well as going over to the Beach Boardwalk area. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing beach stay

My friends and I had a great time celebrating our birthdays at the Palisades Cottage. I think the pictures don't do it justice. It's spacious, but cozy, and the backyard was a great space to hang out and grill up some dinner. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to beach, and some good bird watching, too! Very pleasant stay overall.

Comfortable to large family

Stayed in November and was pleased with the property. It could really use a deep cleaning. The outdoor area is great size but the furniture is pretty worn. For the price I hope they can keep it up. Love the location.

Paradise Point

It was a very convenient location,, close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The pool table was a hit with the boys. Lovely backyard. Hot and cold taps in master bath are reversed, a warning would be nice.

Spacious, great location but needs a deep cleaning

We loved our stay here, if was more than spacious and the location was great, close to the beach. The home has a dirty smell though and all kitchen-ware was greasy with only one pan available to cook. I think that a deep cleaning of the home is needed. The yard was also great for my fur baby. Overall it was a nice home.

A Nice Little Venue

We found most things to our liking, with four of us most of the time and other family in for Christmas dinner. It was a bit crowded at the table for 8. Pool table was a giant hit for young and old. Kitchen was nicely appointed for most things a person would need for cooking. The fenced yard is really quite large, lots of seating and would be a joy in the summer but when rainy as on our visit, not so much! We took many walks to a beach nearby. One odd negative that should be fixed is a queen bed that slants downward.

Pleasant Stay in Pleasant Point Cottage

We enjoyed the property and it's location very much. It suited our five family members very well. The only things the owners might want to give some attention to (and these are very minor): The carpet in the master bathroom is a bit too thick to allow opening the door when it is on the floor. Some kitchen utensils and dish ware are limited for a family of five. None of these items distracted from our appreciation of this fine home where we enjoyed a lovely Christmas vacation.

Great trip.

House is on a dead end street, which was very safe for the kids to ride scooters. The walk to Moran Lake Beach is not too far. Walking on East Cliff is also a fun walk. House was nicely furnished and kitchen has enough stuff for cooking, but it is very small. Bathrooms look like they have been recently remodeled. Main bath shower and toilet area is very narrow. Backyard is nice, but gravel, no grass. We went Boardwalk, about a 15 minute drive. We would stay again.

Great location

This property was tucked away near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, but close enough to walk to the beach. The house itself was clean and spacious and the backyard was beautiful. Check-in was a breeze and the property manager was immediately responsive to one small issue we had (that turned out to be insignificant). Beautiful place.
