Beautiful and Peaceful

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: An incredibly quiet retreat. Very comfortable and well appointed. We listened to records in the evening and cooked dinner in the well equipped kitchen.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is absolutely beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. It is up a beautiful mountain road in a gated community. The architecture in this home is stunning and it has all the amenities you could ask for including a porch swing with an amazing view!

House did not have heat for first two days

I stayed here with my family December 23-27 to celebrate the Christmas holiday. This home’s main heat source is heated radiant floors from the boiler in the garage (I have the same heat source at my own home in Boulder, CO). It takes approximately 24-48 hours to heat a home with radiant floors, depending on the house. We drove from Boulder only to arrive to a 48-50 degree home inside. It took a solid two days to heat the home to 72 degrees. Strongly suggest triple checking that the management company ensures heat upon arrival. It was really frustrating to have to deal with that during Christmas Eve and Day AND to arrive to a frigid home after 6.5 hours in the car. We ended up using space heaters and dressing very warm the first couple days. Management company provided necessary detergent, soap, shampoo, etc but no garbage in the kitchen until we found the can on the last day tucked away in the laundry room. Not sure I’ll get a new listing again as we felt like guinea pigs on Christmas vacation.
