The staff was always friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was delicious. The room was spotless and the location was super convinient walking distance from the historical santa marta and the parque de los novios. We will be going back for sure!!! Super clean, with nice amenities in the room such as fridge, stovetop and plenty of shelf space. Walkable to the main square in SM and a large grocery store, felt safe.

It’s just fine , but the place needs some rework , there is no water pressure in the shower and no handles inside the shower (I had an accident , I cut my finger opening the glass door because it has no handle to open) the staff was really nice , no doubts about that.

You get what you pay for. Very basic accommodations- but it did the job for one night sleep. Bed wasn’t that comfortable either. Noisy as the walls are paper thin. My husband said the room smelled weird too but I didn’t notice much. The staff was kind and helpful so that’s why I gave more stars.

Not worth it

I would not recommend this hotel. The front desk is unfriendly, the wifi doesn’t work in the rooms and there is no warm water. Cold showers only. The power went out twice while I was there at the most inconvenient times.

Avoid this hotel

I would avoid this hotel. It looks good in the pictures but it doesn’t look like that in real life. The room, especially the bathroom is not clean. The pool water is green and dirty. There was a big poop in front of our door one day and also there is no hot water.

DO NOT STAY HERE – ITEMS STOLEN FROM THE SAFE! I was robbed from the hotel’s safety deposit box, and the hotel did little to help. I checked in and placed my American and Colombian passports along with cash in the safe. I stayed for 2 nights and never reopened the safe after securing my belongings the 1st night. When I checked out, I completely forgot to take my passports/ cash. I realized my mistake while traveling to another town an hour away and immediately tried to contact the hotel. No one answered my calls, so I sent multiple emails with my room number, urgently asking them to check the safe. It took two hours for them to respond, and when they finally did a video call, the safe was closed—but empty when opened. I never reopened the safe after locking my items inside. Housekeeping never cleaned the room as I was working there the whole stay. The worst part was the management’s complete lack of response. I called the manager repeatedly, but she refused to return my calls. I was polite and simply wanted answers, but she ignored me and gave me the email of the hotel’s director, who has also failed to respond. Who does that? This was clearly an internal theft, and the hotel did nothing to address it. Called the police- who have been very gracious and kind. Fortunately I know a lot of high profile public figures who have stepped to help and connected me to top area officials. I will be reporting on social media. Stay at your own risk.

Tuve una experiencia muy decepcionante. Me cobraron de más por la reserva y por el importe que ya había pagado por adelantado. Además, el hotel no limpia las habitaciones para estancias de menos de cuatro días, algo extraño. La habitación estaba extremadamente húmeda se sentía en el olor y se veía agua estancada fuera de la ventana, junto al edificio, lo que atraía a una gran cantidad de mosquitos. También era prácticamente imposible ventilar la habitación con aire fresco del exterior. En resumen, no creo que el precio se justificara por la calidad del servicio y espero que el hotel mejore estos aspectos. I had a very disappointing experience. I was overcharged for the reservation and for the amount I had already prepaid. In addition, the hotel does not clean rooms for stays of fewer than four days, which was something I did not expect. The room was extremely humid, and I could see stagnant water outside the window next to the property, which attracted a large number of mosquitoes. It was also practically impossible to ventilate the room with fresh air from outside. Overall, I don’t feel the price was justified by the quality of the service, and I hope the hotel improves these aspects.

He estado en varios hoteles a nivel mundial y la atención es muy bien, pero en este hotel que aparte de estar súper bien ubicado, a un par de cuadras del casco histórico, tienen un personal súper increíble enfocados seguramente en el trato al huésped, resuelve casi de manera inmediata todo lo que puedas reportar en tu habitación (pequeñeces) y están pendientes incluso por la noche. El chico Carlos súper atento y un servicio súper 5 estrellas. Felicitaciones, muy buena organización y bien preparados para recibirnos. El área de piscina es muy agradable y son rigurosos con el horario que está habilitado para usarla por lo que no tendrá inconvenientes para tener un descanso prolongado y sin interrupciones. Se me hace tarde volver. Gracias.

Todo muy limpio y organizado,el personal exelente son demaciado de amables y serviciales. Un desayuno completo cafe,frutas,jugo, y los huevos te los hacen al momento ,los huevos perico los mejores con arepas,El área de la piscina es un lugar donde te puedes relajar ,rodeado de árboles. La ubicación exelente quedas en el mismo centro histórico, asi que puedes ir a todas partes caminando,Parque de los Novios ,La Bahia de Santa Marta , Monumento al Pibe Valderrama, La Virgen en el Mirador, todo caminando. Eso si el calor es desesperante. Tienes el supermercado cerca también. No cuentan con agua caliente para los q estamos acostumbrados a eso ,pero sale el agua templada. Tiene un restaurante con comida super deliciosa. Así q si no quieres las diferentes opciones de la calle ,el hotel cuenta con unas muy buenas.
