DETAILS: Nestled in the heart of Grayton Beach is Casa Sombra Cottage, a lovely 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home that sleeps 11. Located south of 30A and overflowing with natural beauty, this long-standing community boasts a lively atmosphere, showcased in its vibrant art scene and range of funky, friendly dining establishments. Guests longing for a laid-back getaway will love relaxing by the outdoor fireplaces, lounging by the private pool, or hitting the beach—only a 1-minute bike ride away.

Swaying palm trees and a shady, wraparound porch with soft seating welcome guests to this 2-story property. Inside, multi-toned wood floors, a beamed ceiling, and natural textures create a charming and casual setting. Pile into the living area, furnished with a couch, 3 armchairs, a coffee table, and TV, for a night of chitchat, movies, and card games. The kitchen features a Wolf stove, SubZero fridge, and an open layout for flowing conversation during meal prep. Dine inside at the table with 5 chairs and a bench or slip out to the back porch for an alfresco dinner at the 6-seat table. Enjoy lazy afternoons soaking up rays on the loungers or cooling off in the pool. Craving fresh fish? Take advantage of the gas grill. When the sun sets, continue the fun by roasting marshmallows or savoring a nightcap around the 2 outdoor fireplaces. Guests can retire to the primary bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom on this level.

On the second floor, a sitting area with a TV, couch, and armchair offers an extra hangout space and connects to a sleeping nook with a twin bed. There’s 1 guest bedroom with a queen bed and 1 bunk room with 2 twin-over-twin beds—both have doors to the front balcony, equipped with a bed swing and a high-top table for 6. The primary bedroom features a king bed and access to the screened-in balcony overlooking the pool.

Spring break families trip

Great property - heated pool was fantastic for our mid-March stay. The management company was super-responsive and we loved the little gifts waiting when we arrived. It had everything we needed, but remember to bring your beach towels and any pool floaties you may want - those were the only 'necessities' that weren't there. All else was wonderful!
