"This was incredible. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this may not be for you , but if you want a real authentic experience with an incredible view , I mean incredible. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life. Can’t wait to plan my trip back here! "

We didn't want to carry tent/sleeping bags/ground mat, etc...and add day/s to the hike, although we could have camped for very little money. The hotel was well worth the...

Hike to the ancient Llactapata ruins for spectacular views of Machu Picchu across the valley. Experienced guides lead treks through cloud forests to thermal hot springs where you can soak your trail-weary muscles.

Laguna Humantay is one of the most beautiful views along the Salkantay Trail in Peru. The hike takes 1.5-2 hours depending on your fitness level. It’s best to begin as early as possible, or head up later in the afternoon, to avoid the crowds that show up mid day.
