“We stayed four nights in this beautifully designed 7 room boutique hotel in the historic district of Mérida. Our room was large and bright, with high ceilings, and had a very private terrace with table and chairs. The bathroom was large and had good lighting. There is a small restaurant and bar with a good variety of menu items and reasonable prices. Everything we ordered was delicious and presented beautifully. We enjoyed talking with the owner of the hotel, who is a wealth of information……

“Staff is friendly, property is clean. About 10 free car parking spots are available in the hotel premises. Food at the hotel restaurant is good but pricey as compared to another hotel restaurant. They sell beer at 80 Peso while gas station was selling at 26 Peso. I understand the reason for higher pricing but it is very high and the menu is limited. Air conditioning was working fine without any issues.”

The owners, George and Sarah, live on site and are very personable and helpful. The manager Aaron was very communicative and arranged an excellent tour to Chichén Itzá that included swimming in a cenote and also arranged in house massages. “Hotel is in a perfect location on Calle 60. It is located less than 2 blocks from Parc Santa Lucia, & 5 block from Grande Plaza. Room immaculate, with a lovely patio overlooking the pool. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a Hotel. Fresh cooked to order, with warm fresh from the oven croissants, fresh fruit and yogurt. All staff members were EXCEPTIONAL. With a special thanks to Isabella, & Anna. Gino the owner was visible much of the time & wonderful to help in any way……

“Mansión Mérida is spectacular. We were welcomed with a drink and a fruit basket, and loved the daily treats in our room. The room upgrade was stunning, and the pool was incredibly refreshing. The service from the concierge team was world-class, and meeting the owner, Don Raúl, was a highlight. He even took a photo of us, which was delivered in a frame in our room and he met us as we were leaving to give us a thank you letter. Breakfast was delicious and the hospitality was truly personal. “Don't be put off by the rough roads and decrepit buildings in this area. Behind these funky doors is a beautiful oasis of calm and serenity! The main office is a few doors down the street against traffic so it's a little tricky to find. One important thing to know is that there are no televisions in the rooms.”
