Room was dated and musty. Food was not good and always cold. Bar tenders were nice and quick. No nightly entertainment unless you count kids running around on stage entertainment. Need to speak Spanish to navigate this property.

The first 24 hours we were there, we were locked out of our room 4 times with one of those lasting an hour waiting on maintenance to come let us in. We tried to explain it had to be the battery in the lock but it wasn’t until the following day they agreed. There are no elevators. We were placed on the fourth floor despite having a baby in a stroller. You cannot have soda until after lunch so you can only have juice or coffee with breakfast. Bars open at 10. Lots of pushy vendors on the beach. Overall the stay was good for the money and sake of visiting a different area.

I recently stayed at an all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic, and overall, it was a fantastic experience that blended relaxation, beautiful scenery, and attentive service. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and refreshing drinks, which immediately set the tone for the trip. The resort grounds were stunning—lush tropical landscaping, pristine beaches with soft white sand, and crystal-clear water that looked like it belonged on a postcard. There were plenty of lounge chairs and shaded areas, so it never felt overcrowded or stressful to find a place to relax. The accommodations were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. While the decor wasn’t ultra-modern, it had a charming, tropical feel. Housekeeping was consistent and did a great job keeping everything tidy throughout our stay. One of the highlights was definitely the food. With multiple restaurants to choose from, there was a wide variety of options ranging from local Dominican cuisine to international dishes. The buffet was solid, but the à la carte restaurants really stood out—especially the seafood and steak options. Drinks were plentiful, and the bartenders were friendly and generous. The staff truly made the experience memorable. Everyone—from the front desk to the entertainment team—was welcoming, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Their energy added a lot to the overall atmosphere of the resort.

My stay was fairly manageable. While I didn't enjoy the cocktails, which seemed to be made quite cheaply, and the food could have been better, most of the staff were nice. However, I noticed that the buffet area lacked properly set tables, requiring guests to wait for a server to bring utensils. Additionally, I observed one staff member who appeared to be more focused on flirting than on serving guests. Other than that I had a good stay.

In my 47 years on earth and traveling domestic and intentional I have never seen a more run down hotel. Only reason I choose this was because my friend told me to get the real DR experience and not to get a more highly rated hotel. The room given was super small, water pressure was the worst the shower other people in other rooms above me could see me shower. The buffet was the worst. I enjoyed DR and my friends. Next time I’m I’m DR I will go somewhere else and spend the extra money.
