「As a solo female traveler, I take feeling safe very seriously and during my stay at Leevin Guesthouse, I felt very safe and secure. I was using the train to get to/from Faro and this guesthouse is perfect for train, bus and air travel, across the road from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the bus terminal, 10 mins from the ferry terminal. 「Comfortable, clean room and modern bathroom in a good location for exploring Faro old town. The electronic check in was easy and convenient too. There’s a kitchen area that guests can use, a small ground floor outdoor space and a roof top terrace. I only stayed one night but would recommend if you’re spending a few days in Faro. 」

「The drawback is if it’s rainy day, you won’t have much hot water for shower. The first night when we arrived at hotel was a rainy day so we barely had a hot shower. The host was super nice and will offer free breakfast. 」

I was the only one there for two days, so I had free use of my spacious room, plus the open-plan full kitchen and living room area and the funky little interior patio with hand-painted mural. The house is on a narrow street of mostly private homes and a few bars and restaurants and close to plenty of other restaurants, shops, the marina, cathedral, laundromat, etc. Sarah, the house manager, is friendly and very helpful, if you need anything. 」
