“Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Rainbow Cottage. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur lief hervorragend ausschließlich digital und hat wunderbar funktioniert. Das Häuschen selbst ist sehr gemütlich und gut aufgeteilt. Der Garten verfügt über ein schönes Pavillon, aus dem man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Atlantik genießen kann. Allerdings haben wir Liegen mit Kissen doch sehr vermisst. Die Location ist hervorragend, um sich gezielt auf Wanderpfade oder zu touristischen……

“Das Objekt liegt etwas abgelegener über Funchal. Die Strasse dorthin ist sehr steil, ein Fahrzeug mit etwas mehr kraft ist von Vorteil, aber auch mit einem kleineren im ersten Gang machbar. :D der Garten ausserhalb des Objektes ist sehr schön und voller Natur. Auch kleine Hasen hoppeln herum. Innen ist das Objekt ein wenig Renovierung bedürftig und auf die Sauberkeit könnte man noch etwas mehr achten, aber an sich ist das Haus sehr schön. Hauptsächlich ist man ja wegen der Natur dort und die ist……

“Vraiment un endroit sublime ! De la vue, aux extérieur commun jusqu’au logement ; nous avons rien eu à redire. Petit plus, l’hôte est gentil, agréable, et de très bon conseils pour les activités à faire sur l’île. On ressent l’énergie positive qu’il met dans le logement et ses extérieurs. Vous ne regretterez que de devoir partir de là ! Foncez et profitez d’un voyage extraordinaire ”

“This was supposed to be a romantic adventure for my husband and I but at the last moment he was unable to go with me so it became was solo adventure. Admittedly driving on Madeira Island can be surprising because of the narrow roads and fast speeds the locals drive. I was a little nervous trying to find the location but once I understood how to open the gate to the property I was amazed by even the driveway. It was covered with flowers the entire way to my cottage. I parked in a parking area and……

“We had a wonderful time in the apartment. The hosts have been very friendly (although we don't speak french), the garden is beautiful with delicious bananas and mangos and the view is fantastic. Thank you!”

“We had a wonderful stay at Between the Sea and Mountains! The home was cozy with so much character. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ outside in the little courtyard and in the kitchen, it had everything we needed. We loved ending our days on the balcony overlooking the ocean and mountain reflecting on the amazing day we had hiking. We would 100% recommend staying here!”
