“Peaceful and very private. ”

“This was a cozy cottage home that we rented for the weekend for a volleyball tournament. It was beautifully appointed and decorated with design flair. With only one extra bedroom, it may work best with small children or same sex children, but we made it work with my teenage son and daughter by pulling the trundle mattress to the living room for my son. The host communicated very well and responded quickly when an issue arose. It's right in front of the Expo Center, so it was great when needing……

“Manager was informed of the condition of the home and honestly just didn’t care. The floors were DISGUSTING! The bathtub and Sinks were DISGUSTING! The towels were dirty. My kids feet turned black from walking in them after her shower. The drains were all so full of old hair that the water was backing up in the tub and sink. The towels had hair all over them, I’d be surprised if they had even washed them. And it says recently remodeled? But the walls are cracked, the paint is chipped and peeling……

“I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a chance to see the water. Traveling in January may not be the best idea. It was small, but enchanting. I have to go back just to appreciate the water experience. It was dark arriving and leaving, but I’m sure I had the best view. It has inspired me to write a fiction short story. I hope it gets published. Had issues with internet, but I was there to disconnect. Very peaceful. ”

“The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The house was clean and we really enjoyed the fire place.”

“Host was fine. The kitchen is not really very usable, coffee maker barely worked at all. Not really much in the way of supplies. We struggled to even reheat leftovers that we had, because there were only two very small paper plates available and nothing else. Other tenants parked so that the reserved spot couldn't be used, forcing us to use street parking. The place seemed relatively clean. ”

“Started out that the unit that was reserved had an issue and we were moved to a 2 bedroom, 3 bath. I rented a 3 bedroom 2 bath, this was for 3 adult unrelated adult males. 2 of them had to share 1 bedroom that had bunk beds. Uncomfortable situation. Host said all that was available was the 2 bedroom. The 2 bedroom unit was also further away from the area that we were visiting. Also another inconvenience. Unit next door has a smoke alarm that was chirping (needed new battery), host did repair……
