We indulged in spa treatments that included access to the steam room and sauna before our massages—an incredibly relaxing experience. Since we were there at the end of May (the beginning of monsoon season), the property was especially peaceful, and we often had the pool entirely to ourselves. The staff mentioned that it gets much livelier around September and October. We also had the pleasure of meeting Dorje himself and hearing his inspiring story of building the resort after years in the restaurant business. His hospitality ethos is clear in every detail—from the delicious, fresh food at the on-site restaurant (we happily ate most meals there) to the genuinely kind, attentive staff who go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional."

"This property is run by the nicest people. Due to unforseen circumstances, my flight was canceled and I ended up riding the night bus; so i arrived very early morning instead of the check in time the night before. Despite being woken up, the owner was incredibly kind and understanding.- quickly getting me into a clean room with beautiful lake views. I would recommend this hotel to anyone"

"Lovely hotel with excellent hospitable Nepalese staff. Lunch and Dinner were of a high quality. Only downside (as with all properties along the lake) is that there is a fair amount of noise from singing, people, funfair etc that may delay your sleep. Otherwise would definitely recommend staying there due to the central location and wonderful views of the lake"
