The house and host were excellent. Everything was exactly as described in the overview and the many positive reviews. Really enjoyed the picturesque views from the living room and the game room on the lower level. Would definitely stay there again.

We could not have imagined a more perfect place to stay and get married. From the very beginning, Liceth, the wonderful host, was accommodating, responsive, and genuinely invested in making the house and yard wedding-ready. We spoke on the phone numerous times and every detail was handled with care, which made me feel so much better planning from out-of-state.The home itself exceeded our expectations in every way. It is even more beautiful than the photos, thoughtfully designed, impeccably maintained, and spacious enough to comfortably host our celebration. Staying on the creek is a truly magical experience. It was serene waking up to experience the sunrise flood through the floor to ceiling windows, reflect off the water and be able to watch the wildlife wakeup with you. It was the perfect setting and felt very private for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and outdoor dinner. Afterwards, the living room was ideal for our dance party, with space to dance and plenty of comfortable furniture to relax.The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and as a bonus there's a downstairs sink as well. Our catering company utilized both spaces.Thank you Liceth for sharing such a special property with us. We cannot recommend it enough for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway or an unforgettable event venue. We cannot wait to return one day to relive our special memories.

The photos inside and around the house turned out amazing. Our photographer and videographer loved it

We got married in front of the beautiful oak tree. The sidewalk is a perfect "aisle". We were able to fit 20 people in chairs on the concrete pad comfortably. Dinner and cocktail hour were right next to the ceremony site

Liceth was very helpful during the stay. We found the amenities all as adertised. We had a wondeerful stay and would happlily rent this property again. Of note are the beautifully landscaped grounds and its tranquil location next to Phillippi Creek.

This is a 60's home in pristine condition in a beautiful setting on a river. We LOVED it. I 100% recommend this and the owners. The kitchen was updated, but the rest of the house looked preserved for anyone to enjoy. Great AC, water pressure, linens, and everything else. FANTASTIC!

Great location- amazing Sarasota house

We loved our stay here- thoroughly enjoyed the seating by the creek- lots of fun birds and fish to watch. Had fun in the game room, loved the well equipped kitchen and living area. We hope to be back!

Weekend stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this unique home. Sitting by the water each morning and evening was so peaceful. The rental feels more like a home than so many others I have stayed in. We had a fabulous weekend here.

Perfect in every way

This could not have been a more perfect everything. No matter the age or interests, it was absolutely amazing!! It’s in the middle of Sarasota and an older neighborhood, but it feels very secluded and private. Would recommend 100%!

Nice Oasis away from home!

My family came for our grandmother's 90th birthday! The host made this experience the best we have ever had! Super accommodating and attentive to detail. The house was super clean and inviting. The beds were super comfy as well! The pool was fabulous! We will be staying with this host again! Thank you for an unforgettable stay! ❤️ again upon our return!

Beautiful appointed Creek front property

This property is a gem, there are plenty of space for family and bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped with all you need. Downstairs pool table and foosball were a hit with my boys. Outdoor space is absolutely perfect for older kids and we even saw manatees one morning

This Is a beautiful home and perfect for families or a fun vacation with adults. We had everything we needed, everything was very clean and the home was very spacious. The game room and huge yard with a peaceful waterfront was a huge bonus!! The owners were great with communication and quick to respond. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great Backyard

Privacy Is hard to come by in Sarasota. This property has nice backyard to relax in with the river running through it. The game room kept our kids entertained as well.

Wonderful waterfront home!

Traveled to Sarasota with my sister and our young adult children to see our elderly parents. This home was such a treat and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We loved being on Philippi Creek with use of kayaks and sitting out by the water. Growing up in Sarasota this home was a gem and brought back memories being close to my high school. Would definitely stay here again and wish we owned this awesome home! Thanks to Liceth for sharing such a treasure and keeping the original retro home design in tact.

Perfect property!

Everything from the amazing mid-century decor to the gorgeous outdoor space, amazing views from every single window . . . just perfect. Saw an iguana, many manatee and loved the squirrels and birds, didn’t use the game room much but was a definite bonus.
