All the amenities are on one floor. The restaurant and bar, the pool which is literally in the middle of the building and the fitness center. Great views of Sarasota bay and the sunset made our stay amazing!

The view was spectacular! Breakfast was excellent! Cleaning staff did a wonderful job. Couch in room was very uncomfortable and old. Beds where too high. Taxes are outrageous. Parking not included.

Very nice partial view of the bay and good breakfast, but that's where the positives end. Buidling and rooms have a very poor layout and functional design. Pathetic evening reception compared to other Embassy Suites properties. Poor service and lack of quality food at dinner. But the main reason for my rating are the multiple room maintenance problems (A/C, drains, outlets, lightening, loose bathroom handle and fixture). Hot room made it difficult to sleep, couldn't use bathroom sink, ankle deep water during shower. One problem, cut them slack. Multiple problems, no excuse. Will not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.

Great potential but the property is looking tired and the housekeeping staff needs help. Dirty draperies and wallpaper in hallways and rooms, a lot of the furniture chipped and worn, all asking for freshening. Unfortunate since the location, bones and breakfast are strong points.

This hotel was conveniently located for a wedding dinner rehearsal and the actual wedding ceremony we attended. It’s kind of pricey, but the location is nice for what we needed. We didn’t have enough time to explore the area or take advantage of their complimentary drinks. I didn’t like where the TV was located - maybe if it had an extended arm so you can position it so that it’s in front of you instead of turning your head to the side. I have a picture, but i can’t post it.

Booked 7 days with a double queen bed. First day we get there no double queen was available. Made us stay in a king with a pull out couch that night then moved to a double queen for the rest of the stay. The parking fee is $30 per day and should be disclosed in the price but they just surprise you with it once you are there. Breakfast was good, housekeeping was good, the views from the room and from the pool area were good. Short walk to plenty of bars and restaurants.

Slowest elevators I have seen in a long time, very difficult parking ramp trucks and large cars never will make it. Fees on the already high cost . Self park fee , destination fee????. Breakfast good .

The embassy suits was nice hotel and served our purpose as a family. It was conveniently located and the room itself was comfortable. Here’s the only issue I had and it had to do with customer service. Our flight was delayed coming out of Rochester NY because of a compromised tail issue. At first it was a half an hour and gradually it became three hours. We tried to make a loud connection out of Charlotte but was unsuccessfully. We missed the flight by 10 minutes. As soon as I was able I reached out to Expedia and they helped navigate the situation at 11:30pm and called the hotel to inform them of the situation and that we would not be staying in our final destination which was Sarasota, Florida. The person Expedia spoke with told our agent that they would look into it, but we would be receiving a refund for the first night. When we got to the embassy suits on Monday morning, I spoke with several employees which included the desk clerk, a manager and a supervisor and they all told me that a refund would NOT happen and they couldn’t eat the cost of the room. They said the hotel was sold out, and this was income they were losing. I empathized with the big conglomerate and emphasized that this was beyond everyone’s control and in fact, as soon as I was able, I communicated the situation to the correct people. I felt that the management was u reasonable, curt and not customer friendly. This was not just a “no show” as they used that term several times. Poor cust service
