“My room is always very clean at the Westin (which should be the standard everywhere but unfortunately isn't, so of course it's always a relief to walk into a clean hotel room). However, the first day I was there, the pool was pretty murky/dirty and I did not want to use it. I did bring this to their attention. The next morning it looked like it had been properly shocked and cleaned. The QR code to order room service online was glitchy, but I called the front desk and they were very accomodating……

“We had to call to have our room serviced every afternoon. They say we had our do not disturb sign on the door but we didn’t even have one in the room. Also, they only gave us 3 bath towels for 6 people daily and had to call down for more every day. After waiting an hour on day 3 for towels, we had to take some from the pool since they were not delivered.”

“We had a few issues with our room. It was advertised as having a kitchenette, but instead it only had a mini fridge/freezer, coffee maker, and microwave—there was no sink as shown in some of the photos. Our room was also located next to an elevator, and the noise was constant, both late at night and early in the morning. A heads-up about the location would have been appreciated since we have small children. Additionally, the bathroom floor tile appeared damaged from water, it was lifted. The……

“The room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff were most helpful especially since we were there for our wedding and had a lot of visitors, vendors, and items that we needed to coordinate over the days we were in Sarasota. I was especially appreciative of the housekeeping staff that assisted me in organizing the room after having multiple boxes to unpack and dozens of wedding flower bouquets to sort through. Our friends and family enjoyed the BBQ grill and pool the most. That outside area……
