「The floor was covered in chicken and goose droppings because there were no fences and many chickens and geese ran around, even pooping in front of your room. The outdoor hot tub was completely unusable, and the tub was full of leaves, mud, and dust. It looks like no one has ever cleaned it.I messaged the host on the day I checked in saying there was no hot water outside, but they didn't reply until the next day when I was about to check out.」

「This is a lovely cottage in the heart of a residential area. Close to Santana Row. Clean, neat, and a well stocked kitchen. Pet friendly and quiet. The hosts are kind and communication is quick and easy. The shower was a bit of a challenge and some comedic relief to the event (I turned the wrong knob and gave the entire room a shower). 「Our stay at Aptos Bayview cottage, could not have been better. The cottage is just lovely as are Joe and Melody. So hospitable. They brought us freshly made chocolate cake with fresh berries and whipped cream. Made us feel right at home. Very clean and bright, and just totally felt cozy. Will stay again forsure. 」
