「Conveniently located just a short walk from the entrance to the Sassi. Many restaurants and cafes there. Street parking available on street in front of apartment. Only problem was that WiFi did not work. Fortunately, our phones are on an unlimited data plan.」

「Funktionelle Unterkunft, nur ca. 350m zur Piazza Vittorio Veneto. In der Unterkunft ist alles vorhanden, bei Ankunft erhielten wir von Prospero und seinem Sohn viele nützliche Informationen. Matera ist unglaublich beeindruckend, samstags sehr großer Straßenmarkt im neuen Teil der Stadt. Sehr empfehlenswert!」

「Amazing accommodation ! This was our first visit to Matera and the La Cava Nel Barisano did not disappoint! Both Rosalba and Gianfranco were fantastic hosts. Every detail was thought of, including Gianfranco shuttling us from the public parking to LaCava and back once our stay was completed! I highly recommend this vacation rental! Easy access to good Trattorias as well as an incredible view of ancient Matera!」

「It's the best hotel for me. The owner of the hotel is very nice and enthusiastic. Although they don't speak English very well, they helped us a lot with our heavy luggage.
