"I came back to stay at the Wickwood Inn twenty years after I had last stayed here. It was lovely then, but I feared it might have gotten dated by now. No need to worry! They did a complete renovation of the inn. Still the beautiful antique-filled luxuriously plush rooms, but updated to a more muted and understated color palette befitting the current design aesthetic. The exquisite marble-clad bathroom was a particular delightThere is still no other place in town that holds a candle to this. "

"The windows are spectacular on both levels and with the trees bare there was a tremendous view of the River. It was sparkling clean from a germ perspective and from a minimal clutter perspective, too. As I am well out of the "in" season invasion, it was quiet and serene, too. There is an Italian place (Scooters) where I got great take away pizza and a Mexican restaurant with take away 'Ritas. Best part - they are less than 100 yrds away. Thanks Jeff and Debbie!"

"My wife and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary on April 2024. The place is beautiful, as is the area. We enjoyed being so close to Lake Michigan, Kalamazoo Lake, and right across the street from the Kalamzoo River. The place is well set up with a full kitchen including stainless steel appliances, and dishwasher + a magic bullet blender and wine and bottle openers, as well as toaster and coffee maker. Nice gas fire place stove easy to use too. Enjoyed how close it was to a handful of nice towns and right across the river from downtown Saugatuck. The place even has a shared laundry room access between the units, you can lock the door to the laundry from inside your unit. We loved walking to Mount Bald Head and Lake Michigan. It was also nice to sit on the front deck and enjoy the view of the Kalamazoo River."
