Girls weekend!
We loved the Little Star Cabin in Saugatuck! It was well stocked and so comfortable for are group of 6. We loved sitting by the fire at night and playing games! Erin has been amazing to work with .

Fantastic Getaway!
We booked this place for a friend group trip and it was perfect! Everyone had their own room and the community areas were spacious enough for all 8 of us to hang out comfortably. The cabin is also very well stocked with anything you might need. The location was great too - close enough to town but secluded enough to be relaxing. Erin was very responsive and was a great host! Would stay here again!

Girls weekend
Very comfortable cabin that was stocked for different types all the way from things for children to adults the beach and more. Located near most anything you would need. From sight seeing, hiking the beach and restaurants. There is plenty of adventure to be found here.

Little Star Cabin is ALL FIVE Stars
My family rented 5 cabins in Hidden Dunes this past week and Little Star was the cleanest, coziest and most well-appointed cabin of all! Communication with Erin was very clear from start to finish, with her checking in midweek by text to make sure everything was perfect. I couldn't recommend this rental more highly!

Lovely Cabin by Lake Goshorn
We spent a long weekend in this cabin and had a lovely time. There we’re 4 adults and 3 children and we felt there was plenty of room. The personal touches made it extra special, such as rubber duckies (bought at Root Beer Barrel) hidden around the house for the kids to find and s’more supplies set out. The house has a full drawer of zip locks, tons of spices and cooking spray, beach towels, chairs and noodles. The cabin is a short walk from the small, private beach and we had it all to ourselves. It’s a short 4 min drive into the hubbub of Saugatuck and parking wasn’t an issue. The only negatives are that the cabin is creaky so if you’re a light sleeper, bring a sound machine. And the sand dune track runs behind the cabin. While you can’t see them due to trees, there are motors roaring by every 15 min or so which took away from the serenity a bit in the evenings. They could only be heard on the screened porch or outdoors, not in the house, but something to be aware of. Erin was an excellent host. She was quick to respond and very hospitable. We had a great time - thank you for sharing your home with us!

Little Star is a Big Star
Great place for a girls long weekend. Cabin was cozy. My favorite place was the screened in back porch, where we spent most of our time when we were not out exploring Saugatuck and Douglas. It was a nice getaway. Thanks!

Quaint cabin getaway
The cabin was just what we were looking for. The kitchen was well stocked, we didn’t even have to make any last minute runs to the corner store! The neighborhood was quiet and low key, we even felt safe letting our 6 and 8 year old walk down to Goshorn lake on their own. The beach is small but perfect because it’s only for the guests of the community. We actually preferred it over the beaches on Lake Michigan, and the water was warmer! Erin was an excellent host, very responsive and attentive. You won’t regret booking at Little Star!

Great getaway!
We love little star cabin! Erin is an amazing host! She has great attention to detail! The cabin is very clean and cozy. There is everything you need. Short walk to the beach. Goshorn lake is well cared for. Highly recommend!

a lovely retreat!
Everything just as advertised. The place was very clean and well supplied in the kitchen, as well as the bathroom. The setting was beautiful and peaceful as we really enjoyed the firepit each evening. Plenty of seating in the living room and around the table. There was 7 of us having a girl's weekend and it couldn't have been better.

Great place + great location!
We absolutely loved our stay at Little Star! The cabin is beautiful and immaculate. Lots of nice touches and well stocked. Really appreciated the beach chairs and towels. So close to downtown Saugatuck but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Little Star Cabin for Tulip Time Festival
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Star Cabin. The S’mores Kit and Popcorn left by the host were such a nice touch! The beds were very comfortable. It was the perfect location between Holland & Saugatuck. A few of the lights didn’t always work .. downstairs bedroom and upstairs bathroom. We’ll definitely recommend to others! Thanks for a wonderful time!

Great Location and Cute Cabin
Loved the property. Perfect set up for a group of friends. We grilled out, used the fire pit and played games while not out enjoying the town. The water is literally a couple hundred steps away. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, bowls, plates, etc. Location was great. Minutes from downtown or a walk to the coffee hut up the street. Lots of good restaurants. If you are looking for a place with a vast bourbon and whiskey selection, try Southerners which is just a couple of minutes from the cabin. A flood light in the driveway for arrivals after dark would be helpful.

Gorgeous cabin
We went for a girls getaway and couldn’t have picked a lovelier place to stay. We particularly loved the screened in porch - we ate all of our meals there. The fire pit area was set up nicely and we had a fire one evening. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was spotless. Thanks Erin for opening your home to us.

We love Little Star! Our second time to the cabin for a getaway with the kids was perfect! Everyone loves the sleeping accommodations, screened porch and quiet, cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. Superbly clean and convenient amenities.

Little star has my heart
Had such a great experience at Little Star Cabin. My husband and I stayed here with 3 little ones that are under 3 years old and felt like the space was toddler friendly and provided us enough (safe!) space for them to explore. Their favorite thing about the cabin was pointing at all the little ducks that Erin had hidden amongst the lake home. Had no need to reach out for assistance during our stay since our welcome letter provided all necessary information, and all amenities (firepit/tv/laundry/beach toys and noodles) were readily equipped for us to freely use with ease. Random thing that was noted… kleenex that was provided was ‘with lotion’- very random and small, however… this little thing shows demonstrates their care and attention to detail. Thanks for having us, we will be back!

Adorable Cabin
Little Star cabin is adorable! Everything we needed was provided. The cabin is well taken care of and is a gem of a find in a quiet area. The location is perfect for visiting both Holland and Saugutuck. We can’t wait to visit again.

Fantastic stay
This place is a gem! The house was cozy and suited 5 adults comfortably. We loved the screened back porch, fire pit and s’more making kit at night. During the day, we floated in the water at hidden dunes beach and had a couple of days at oval beach. Looking forward to a future visit!

Wonderful Property
We could not have imagined a better property for our stay. The kids and adults both loved it. We spent tons of time swimming in the lake and enjoyed having a bonfire in the backyard. Little to no traffic where the house is located. Very well appointed kitchen.

Perfect Oasis
This cabin was perfect! It was somehow nicer than the pictures, and nestled in a tiny patch of forest. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, but such a short drive into town, or to the lakeshore. We all got there and our only regret was that our stay wasn’t longer!

lovely home and location
This home is very clean and well-maintained, with exceptionally comfortable mattresses and a soft, cozy sectional couch. Kitchen has everything you need, and both bathrooms are spacious, with nice fluffy towels. Location is a short walk to Goshorn Lake, the dune buggy rides, and Dairy Dayz, and a quick drive to the dunes state park and other area attractions. Don't miss the new mini-golf place just down Blue Star highway!

Cozy and comfortable
We had such a lovely time at Little Star. It was the perfect retreat after our long days out and about. Everyone enjoyed the cozy beds and living room. The kitchen was very well equipped and we cooked most of our meals. The washer and dryer were very convenient. Everything was clean and organized. Our hostess was easy to contact.

Long August weekend in Saugatuck
We loved our stay in Saugatuck at Little Star! The cabin was absolutely wonderful - stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was welcome during a 90°+ weekend. The location is awesome - you’re a 5 minute or less drive to the highway, golf courses, downtown Saugatuck, and the water. My friends and I have stayed in many rental homes and this by far was one of the best. We easily fit 7 adults. We only wish we had a few more days to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and lake access.

Wonderful, peaceful stay
We had a great time with 5 girlfriends at the lake house. Everything was clean, in working order and well prepared. The beach was walkable without being as issue of proximity. We'd come here again and highly recommend.

Don’t Miss This Opportunity!
Erin was a joy to work with! Quick replies to questions, and very helpful and accommodating. Property was very clean, and a homey beautiful cabin. Very comfortable beds. Loved Little Star Cabin!
Our stay in Saugatuck at the Little Star could not have been more perfect. The cabin had everything we needed and was great for our group, which ranged from age 7 to my 65 yr old parents celebrating their 40th Anniversary. The private lake a beach was prefect for morning and evening entertainment, and everything else we wanted to do was only a few minutes away. We are already talking about coming back next year!

Perfect for a family getaway!
This was the perfect spot for our family getaway this summer. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed (including kids items!), and the location was an ideal home base for exploring the area. We enjoyed lazy mornings reading on the back porch and swimming/fishing in Lake Goshorn. We hope to be back someday soon!

The perfect place to stay in Saugatuck
Our family had our first vacation in 2 years here, and it was the perfect spot. From the time of booking until our arrival, Erin was very quick to respond to messages. She seemed very motivated to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Ahead of our trip she sent a detailed information packet about the property and she also made suggestions for activities in the area (Highly recommend the Dune Rides that are less than 5 min away!). We were very pleased on arrival. The property was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Our group of 8 was able to stay here comfortably. We really enjoyed the screened in porch, bbq'd on the patio, and spent time at the fire pit. We appreciated the beach towels and toys that were also provided (thanks Erin for the Smores supplies in the welcome basket!). There is a small private beach on Goshorn lake that is in walking distance and was easy to share with the neighboring cabins. The area was quiet and secluded. The Wifi was excellent. The beds were comfortable. I thought the guestbook was a sweet touch, it was fun to read about other families' stay there. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Saugatuck!

Loved this property, the lake is a great for swimming and fishing. Close to town and the dune ride.
We loved our stay at this cabin! The house is equipped with everything you need to cook and the beds are very comfortable. Also the cable and internet works well and the living room was spacious for our sons family of five and us two grandparents. Can’t wait to come back again.

Upscale charming cabin in serene setting
We were more than surprised at how charming this cabin turned out to be! Cozy and comfortable with all the amenities you need! The bed are AMAZING! There were 7 of us including a 93 year old and a 1 year old so nap times are important and a main floor BR and blackout curtains in 2 BR’s made this so much easier! Kitchen has everything you need, including 2 crockpots. It’s so perfectly decorated and welcoming. The back screened in porch was my morning routine even in the rain. Loved that the screen doors had locks so the toddlers were safe while we enjoyed fresh air. The host Erin is so nice and was available to answer any questions. The area had a power outage and she contacted us immediately to let us know. We will be going back for sure! We loved this place!

Weekend at Little Star cabin
My family of six, including all adult children, had a wonderful weekend staying at Little Star. The location is convenient to town and everything you might want to do in the area. The cabin was spacious, clean, well appointed with everything we needed (so we didn't need to run to the store for anything), and comfortable for all. The shaded screened in porch was fantastic--I could have spent all three days hanging out right there. I highly recommend this cabin and hope to visit again.
